Provided is a current detection device in which, to a bus bar type shunt resistor, another member can be easily connected and fixed by means of rotational fastening of screw members. Current detection device

To provide a shunt resistor and a current detection device including the shunt resistor, to which a busbar, a board, and the like can be easily fixed with sufficient strength wherein only minimum processing of electrodes is required. Screwing members (bolt () and nut ()) that are separate members from electrodes () of the resistor (), are fixed on the electrodes (). The current detection device includes the shunt resistor (), which has at least a pair of electrodes (). One screwing member () fixed beforehand on at least one electrode () is screw fastened with the other screwing member () while disposing a prescribed intervening member () between the one screwing member and the other screwing member. Here, the prescribed intervening member () includes a board mounting a current detection circuit thereon and/or busbars.

Resistor and current detection device

In a metal plate resistor, the bonded surface between the resistance body and the electrode can be prevented from peeling off. The metal plate resistor comprises a resistance body; an electrode consisting of metal material having a higher conductivity than the resistance body, and the electrode bonded with the resistance body; a recessed portion formed in an end face of the electrode on a side bonded with the resistance body; and a fixation hole formed in the electrode for inserting a bolt; wherein an end portion of the resistance body is fitted into the recessed portion in the electrode. The recessed portion is provided with wall portions on both sides in a width direction of the resistance body, and in a direction substantially perpendicular to a penetration direction of the fixation hole. The recessed portion is opened to an end face and a first surface of the electrode.

Metal plate resistor

Provided is a current detection resistor that is small and that inhibits influence of the skin effect due to high frequency current. The resistor includes a resistor body () and at least a pair of electrodes (), wherein the resistor body () is configured in a pillar-shape having diameter of 4 mm or less disposed between the electrodes. Each of the electrodes () is made to be longer in the direction in which the electrodes are placed and longer than twice the distance between the electrodes, which sandwich the resistor body. The voltage terminal member includes a resistance body (); a pair of electrodes () fixed to each end of the resistance body; and a pair of voltage terminal members () for detecting voltage generated in the resistance body and that are connected to each electrode; wherein the voltage terminal member () includes a connecting portion () for connecting to the electrode (), an extending portion () extending from the connecting portion toward the other electrode side; and wherein each end of the extending portion reaches to same plane (X) perpendicular to current path between the electrodes.
