Disclosed is a transdermal absorptive liquid preparation in which a medicament or a salt thereof is colloidally dispersed in propylene glycol or a propylene glycol-containing solvent, whose transdermal permeability of the medicament is excellent, problem of skin irritation is reduced. This transdermal absorptive liquid formulation has a mode of particle diameter at around 100 nm, and an average particle size of 50 to 500 nm. This transdermal absorptive liquid formulation makes marked improvement in the transdermal permeability by further containing an absorption promoter such as triethanolamine.

Transdermal colloidal solution agent

An external preparation containing memantine which has less skin irritation and excellent skin permeability, and also, which is suitable for continuous administration for a long period of time. The external preparation contains memantine or a salt thereof, and further contains 0.05 to 1.5% by weight of phosphatidylcholine, 35 to 55% by weight of propylene glycol, 18 to 30% by weight of glycerine, and 22 to 32% by weight of water. The content of water less than 22% by weight may increase skin irritation, and the content of water more than 32% by weight may decrease skin permeability. The content of glycerin less than 18% by weight may increase skin irritation, and the content of glycerin more than 30% by weight may decrease skin permeability.

Memantine-containing transdermally absorbable liquid

Disclosed is a transdermal composition, which uses high-purity phosphatidylcholine that is most susceptible to oxidation and the like, and which exhibits high stability and high migration into the skin. Specifically, a transdermal composition having good stability and migration into the skin is able to be obtained by preparing a transdermal composition (a colloidal dispersion liquid of phosphatidylcholine) that contains high-purity phosphatidylcholine, carnitine, a polyhydric alcohol and water. Since the transdermal composition does not contain an oleaginous base (an oil component), the transdermal composition has skin compatibility and is thus useful as a therapeutic agent or a cosmetic preparation. In addition, phosphatidylcholine and carnitine have an effect of achieving good migration into the skin and are capable of promoting systemic or local lipid metabolism in subcutaneous adipose tissues. Consequently, the transdermal composition is able to provide a transdermal preparation that is capable of promoting lipolysis in subcutaneous adipose tissues.

Transdermal composition of phosphatidylcholine and method for producing same

There is provided an external preparation for wounds which has novel usability in treating skin damages accompanied by a large amount of exudation such as bedsores, skin ulcers, and burns, and yet has such advantages as observed in conventional medicines having been employed in treating these wounds. The external preparation for wounds comprises a water-soluble polymer and a crosslinking agent, and has powdery/granular or ointment form. After absorbing an exudation, the preparation undergoes phase transition from a sol to a gel by the action of ingredient of the preparation, and thus exhibits actions of adsorbing and eliminating necrotic tissues, and protecting the wounded parts. Subsequently, it can continuously absorb the exudation. After being used, it can be easily separated substantially as a mass, thereby exhibiting high therapeutic effects and usability.

External preparation for wounds

An enteric medicinal composition comprising a drug ingredient, pectin, alginic acid, or a derivative thereof, and water is provided that is easy to swallow.

Enteric medicinal composition for oral use

An objective of the present invention is to provide an anti-inflammatory analgesic for external use comprising etodolac as NSAID. The anti-inflammatory analgesic for external use is excellent not only in skin permeability but also in penetratability and diffusivity into tissues present in portions deeper than the skin, can act directly on the muscles or joint tissues with inflammation or pain, and is a little irritant to the skin. The anti-inflammatory analgesic for external use of the present invention is characterized by comprising etodolac and a local anesthetic.

Anti-inflammatory analgesic for external use

It is an object of the present invention to provide an external preparation having enhanced transdermal penetration of a mast cell degranulation inhibitor. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a method for improving the photostability of a preparation containing a mast cell degranulation inhibitor. The present invention provides an external preparation containing a mast cell degranulation inhibitor and a topical anesthetic. Further, the method for enhancing the photostability of a preparation containing a mast cell degranulation inhibitor according to the present invention includes adding a topical anesthetic thereto.

External preparation

In order to provide an external skin patch having improved painkilling effect for pains accompanied by inflammation, such as chronic arthrorheumatism, arthrosis deformans or low back pain, an external skin patch is obtained by coating a drug-containing base on a substrate; the drug-containing base comprises an adhesive gel base containing a water soluble polymeric material, a crosslinking agent, water and a humectant as essential components, and a local anesthetic and a nonsteroidal antiphlogistic analgesic agent as medicinal components.

Patches for external use

An object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic for nail that suppresses dryness of nails, that makes nails hard to fracture, that makes nails glossy as they are, that keeps or improves healthiness of nails, and that is highly safe. The cosmetic for nail is provided by adding 0.02 to 20% by weight of sericin as an effective ingredient additionally to the conventional cosmetic ingredients.

The present invention relates to external preparations containing a watercress extract which are excellent in the humectant effect and also capable of reducing skin irritation and giving a comfortableness of use even if a calefacient is blended. In particular, the present invention provides the external preparations containing a watercress extract with which one or more members selected from the group consisting of powdered capsicum, capsicum extract, capsicum tincture, capsaicin and nonanoic acid vanillylamide can be blended as calefacients.
