A computer system is connected to a database, is capable of accessing a data catalog that manages an item for searching for data stored in the database, and holds data requirement management information for managing requirement data associated with a phase of a life cycle of an application and a data requirement. The computer system searches for data matching a search condition with reference to the data catalog when a search request including the search condition is received; specifies the requirement data corresponding to the phase with reference to the data requirement management information when an output request including information of data selected by the user and the phase is received; and outputs use data to be used in the phase based on the selected data and the specified requirement data.

Computer system and data providing method

A data management system includes a processor. An estimated ETL level mapping processing unit is operated on the processor to estimate existence of unregistered ETL that is ETL not registered in a repository, to calculate a degree of similarity based on matching between an existing data model and retained data, and to extract a column to be a candidate based on the degree of similarity. The existence of the unregistered ETL is estimated by estimating the presence or absence of connectedness in the ETLs on the basis of correspondence between input data and output data in ETLs by using an execution ETL log relevant to an execution history of the ETL.

The computer system is connected to a DB that stores data acquired from a production system in which a plurality of machines operate, and includes a generation unit and a data search unit. The DB stores operation data and environment data. The generation unit generates, by analyzing schedule information including a production schedule of the plurality of products, first owner information for storing first access control data including an owner, the machines, and a first access period set based on operation time, and generates, based on the first owner information, second owner information for storing second access control data including the owner, a type of the environment data, and a second access period set based on the first access period. The data search unit controls accesses to the DB based on the first owner information and the second owner information.

Computer system and data access control method

A diagnostic equipment coupled to a vehicle network makes an inquiry about internal information, e.g., yes or no whether there is a logging-available memory area, with respect to each of a plurality of ECUs, and only to any of the ECUs making a response of yes, e.g., having such a memory area, a notification is made when some defect is observed. The internal information is then gathered from the ECU, and in response to an inquiry about the internal information coming from the diagnostic equipment, the ECU forwards back information about yes or no for logging thereto. When the ECU is available for logging, log data that has been periodically accumulated is forwarded back as a response with respect to a retrieval request therefor from the diagnostic equipment.

A multimedia communication system having at least one terminals capable of multimedia communication, a user information storage for storing the information on the users of the terminals, a terminal information storage for storing the information on the terminals and a media information storage for storing the occupied/unoccupied status of one or more communication media capable of being used at the terminals, wherein the occupied/unoccupied status of all the communication media for a designated user are read from the media information storage, the dynamic situation of the user is read from the user information storage, and the occupied/unoccupied status thus read is changed in accordance with one or more rules including the conditions for the dynamic situation and the contents of change in the occupied/unoccupied status.

Multimedia communication system

The usage of communication systems is improved. An IM servermanages presence information regarding each of IM clients and usable media and user information such that each of the IM clients can obtain these kinds of information. In order to perform text chatting, the IM servermanages a connection between each of the IM clients participating the chat and the IM server, merges text from each of the participating IM clients and distributes the result to each of the participating IM clients. In order to perform voice chatting, an AP servermanages a connection between each of the IM clients participating the chat and an MD server, mixes voice from each of the participating IM clients except for a focused IM client and distributes the result to the focused participating IM clients. This processing is performed for each of the participating IM clients.

Communication system and communication method

The storage device is provided with a synchronization controller to realize synchronization control of information for the other storage devices when information is updated. This synchronization controller is further provided with a synchronization level registration table for registration and management of synchronization levels for every class of information and a synchronization interval registration table for registration and management of synchronization intervals of information pieces for the synchronization levels. Consequently, a load of communications may be alleviated by realizing common sharing/synchronization of information pieces among different systems and particularly by realizing loose common sharing/synchronization of information pieces depending on the characteristics of the information.

Storage system, storage device and information common sharing method by utilizing storage device

By adopting a method of requesting a band for each plurality of calls, or a method of requesting a band independently of origination or termination of a call, a method of reducing the frequency of origination of a call is provided. A first aspect may provide that a gate keeper requests security and release of a band not every call, but collectively for a plurality of calls, and the security and the release of a band are requested at frequency less than that of origination or termination of calls. A second aspect may provide that an estimated value of a time series change in necessary band is previously set in a gate keeper, and security and release of a band required for communication are requested depending on a time, but independently of origination and termination of a call.

Method of requesting security and release of communication band

An audio gateway is provided for receiving an internet relay request and a number called in a call from a telephone via the internet. An audio data gateway is selected using the number called, and relay operations are performed with the selected destination audio data gateway. The relay audio data is multiplexed for streams based on multiple relay requests having the same relay destination so that the relay audio data in these streams are multiplexed into a single relay stream.

Data gateway and method for relaying data

A gateway (GW) for relaying a communication between a public telephone network and a routing server for managing use status of the GW and a network are provided on the internet. When a connection request is received, the GW issues a request to retrieve a route in which the costs are minimum and a necessary bandwidth can be reserved. The routing server retrieves the route of the minimum costs using the bandwidth reservation status of the internet and the partner's telephone number and notifies the request issued GW of the address of the partner GW. The costs at that time point may be notified to the user and the user selects whether the communication is performed or not. By managing the current connection information established by each GW, if a necessary bandwidth cannot be reserved, an audio compression ratio may be changed.
