One object is to suppress thermal shrinkage of a cover resin layer at the time of thermal curing. A laminated coil according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a magnetic substrate formed of a sintered magnetic material, an insulation resin layer formed on the magnetic substrate, a cover resin layer formed on the insulation resin layer, and a coil conductor embedded in the insulation resin layer. In one embodiment of the present invention, said insulation resin layer includes a first resin and first filler particles, and said cover resin layer includes a second resin and second filler particles. A filling factor of the second filler particles in the cover resin layer is higher than a filling factor of the first filler particles in the insulation resin layer.

A common mode choke coil exhibiting greater reliability against moisture load includes a nonmagnetic layer made of glass, magnetic layers placed in a manner sandwiching the nonmagnetic layer, and two or more coil conductors embedded in a base material constituted by the nonmagnetic layer and magnetic layers, wherein Mg segregation is present in the nonmagnetic layer and the Mg segregation accounts for 0.5 to 16 percent of the total area as observed on an electron micrograph of a section of the nonmagnetic layer, while the size of Mg segregation is preferably 0.2 to 10 &#x3bc;m.

Common mode choke coil

A lithium-titanium complex oxide containing LiTiOis characterized in that, based on SEM observation, the number-based percentage of particles whose size is less than 0.1 &#x3bc;m is 5 to 15% or 40 to 65%, the number-based percentage of particles whose size is 0.3 to 1.5 &#x3bc;m is 15 to 30%, the specific surface area measured by the BET method is 5.8 to 10.1 m/g, and the average particle size D50 according to the particle size distribution measured by laser diffraction measurement is preferably 0.6 to 1.5 &#x3bc;m.
