To provide a seal member for a waterproof connector which will not be deteriorated in waterproof performance even when wires swing, and is suited for use even in the type of connector in which an inner housing is swingable as in a floating connector, a seal member for a waterproof connector is mounted at rear ends of terminal receiving chambers of the waterproof connector, and has wire-sealing passage holes in which wires connected to respective terminals can be fitted, respectively. Lip portions are formed on an outer peripheral portion of the seal member over an entire periphery thereof, and also lip portions are formed on front and rear sides of the seal member spaced from each other in an inserting direction, and these lip portions can be compressed and deformed between the seal member and the terminal receiving chambers.

Seal member for waterproof connector

A board-connecting connector including a pair of inner housings opposed to each other for receiving elastic contact terminals with respect to a circuit board, a guiding plate having a sloped guiding part for engaging inner housing-driven projections and guiding the inner housings close to each other, and an outer housing for receiving the inner housings and the guide plate, and holding the guide plate. When the circuit board is fully inserted into the pair of inner housings, the circuit board abuts on the inner housings, and pushes to move the inner housings along the guiding plate.

Board-connecting connector

A connector including: a first connector housing having a tube-shaped hood part; a second connector housing to be fitted to the first connector housing; and a groove part provided on the second connector housing, wherein a terminal receiving part of the second connector housing is positioned in the hood part so that the first and second connector housings are fitted to each other, wherein an end part of the hood part enters the groove part when the first and second connector housings are fitted to each other.

Electrical connector having vibration-resisting structure

The object of the invention is to provide a connector assembly having enough waterproof performance, without needing high insertion force during the assembly process. In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a connector assemblycomprising a plug assemblya header assemblyconfigured to be mated with the plug assemblywhile forming an opening between the plug assemblyand the inside of the header assemblyholder assembliesandconfigured to apply pressure on the plug assembly in the direction of insertion of the plug assemblyinto the header assemblyand a sealing memberconfigured to be pushed out toward the opening in response to the pressure applied by the holder assembliesandafter insertion of the plug assemblyinto the header assemblyin order to plug and seal the opening.

Connector assembly

The present invention is to provide a waterproof connector having an adjusted spacing between terminals or electrical wires for achieving an effective waterproof. The electrical wires received in a terminal receiving portion of an outer housing are guided to a wire seal fit portion, while the electrical wires are pressed with wire holders (displacement limit portions). The electrical wires are then passed through a holder (spacing adjusting portion), a seal member, and another holder (lead-out portion) of a wire seal in the wire seal fit portion. The wire seal is fitted into the wire seal fit portion for achieving waterproof of the waterproof connector. The electrical wires guided out of the lead-out portion have an equal spacing therebetween by expansion of the spacings between the electrical wires or displacements thereof. The equal spacing ensures insertion of the seal member and provides the effective waterproof.

Waterproof connector

A connector having a sealing function, which can be disassembled and also assembled easily, is provided. The connector includes: a connector housing which receives a terminal fitting attached to an end of an electric wire; a sealing member which includes sealing pieces made of resilient material positioning the electric wire between the sealing pieces and a holding means holding the sealing pieces at predetermined positions; and an outer housing which receives the connector housing and the sealing member, wherein the sealing pieces maintain a waterproof characteristic between the outer housing and the electric wire when the connector housing and the sealing member are received in the outer housing.
