Gas cartridge

Fuel gas or some other kind of fluid is stored in a collapsible metallic bag that is attached to a valve and is stored inside a rigid outer container. Between the rigid outer container and the collapsible bag is a space or volume filled with compression gas during use which puts a collapsing pressure evenly upon the bag. In order to reduce bag failures, the outer surface of the collapsible bag has a series of projected streak portions that project outwardly from the vertical length of the collapsing in several locations that prevent the bag from expanding to fill the entire space between the rigid outer container and the bag. These projected streaks form recessed portions in the bag's surface which facilitates the bag collapsing in those predetermined locations evenly which in turn reduces the collapsible bag's failure rate from breaking during operation.

The invention provides an apparatus for outputting compressed air in a compressor to a plurality of pneumatic tools at a plurality of pressures. The apparatus includes: an air tank storing compressed air compressed by the compressor at a high pressure; a pressure adjusting portion connected to said air tank and adjusting a pressure value of the compressed air in a region from the high pressure to zero; a pressure outputting portion connected to a secondary side of said pressure adjusting portion and outputting the adjusted compressed air to at least one of a first pneumatic tool driven at a first pressure and a second pneumatic tool driven at a second pressure. The first pressure is larger than the second pressure, and the adjusted compressed air is not output to the second pneumatic tool at the first pressure.

In a reinforcement binding machine in which a wire feed device feeds externally therefrom a wire for binding reinforcements and the wire fed out by the wire feed device is bent in a loop shape by a guide part, a twisting-and-tightening mechanism comprises: a pair of hooks being capable of opening and closing, for gripping in part the wire wound around the reinforcements in the loop shape; a driver for rotating the hooks in a direction to twist the wire gripped and for selectively moving the hooks toward or apart from the reinforcements with the wire wound therearound; and a coil spring for urging the hooks such that the hooks are normally spaced apart from the reinforcements.

A reinforcement binding machine for binding reinforcement with a wire, comprises: a wire feed device for feeding out the wire; a guide arm for guiding the fed-out wire such that the wire is wound in a loop shape around the intersecting portions of the reinforcements; a wire twisting device for gripping part of the looped portion of the wire wound around the reinforcements to twist and tighten the same; a wire cutting device for cutting off the looped portion of the wire from the base portion of the wire; and a newly-wire setting mechanism for positioning the leading end of the wire to a given position when newly loading the wire into the reinforcement binding machine.

A screw tightening machine is provided which comprises a main body 2 formed on an end of a grip 1, a nose 3 mounted on the forward part of the main body 2, and a magazine 5 for guiding and feeding a band in which evenly spaced screws 4b are fitted from the side of the grip 1 to the nose 3. The nose 3 moves relatively with respect to a direction in which a screw 4b is tightened. The screw 4b is driven out from the nose 3. An end of the magazine 5 is connected to the nose 3, and a part of the other end of the magazine 5 is slidably connected to the grip 1.

The binding-piece feeding passageway arranges the binding piece in a position that the binding piece is substantially conical, that the convex side thereof is the same direction as the opening of the bag and that the first opening engaged with the puckered mouth of the bag is at the top. The binding piece holder for maintaining the position of the binding piece when the binding piece is put on the puckered mouth of the bag.

A percussion tool of the repeatedly operating type includes a housing, a striking cylinder received in the housing for movement therealong, and a driving piston received in the striking cylinder for movement therealong. The striking cylinder cooperates with the housing to provide a switch valve means which is responsive to the movement of the striking cylinder along the housing for selectively interrupting fluid communication between the interior of the striking cylinder and a discharge port and communicating the interior of said striking cylinder with a compressed air source when the striking cylinder is at its lower position to thereby move the striking piston to cause an associated striking driver to strike a driven element and for selectively interrupting the communication between the interior of the striking cylinder and the compressed air source and communicating the interior of the striking cylinder with the discharge port as the striking cylinder is moved from its lower to upper position. Air within that portion of the interior of the striking cylinder between a lower face of the driving piston and a lower end of the striking cylinder is compressed by the striking piston moving toward an ejecting portion receiving the driven element and is supplied to a return air chamber. The air thus compressed acts on the lower face of the piston to urge the same away from the ejecting portion.
