A holding structure of an electronic component includes a first resin mold formed by resin insert molding with a terminal. The first resin mold possesses a positioning portion for positioning the electronic component to be electrically connected to the terminal. The holding structure includes a second resin mold formed by resin insert molding with the terminal and surrounding the first resin mold and the electronic component. The electronic component has been positioned by the first resin mold and has been electrically connected to the terminal.

A displacement detecting device includes a power supply line made of a conductor on a substrate, an earth line made of a conductor on the substrate, a plurality of output lines made of a conductor on the substrate, a resistance formed between the power supply line and the earth line on the substrate, and a brush sliding on the resistance and at least one of the output lines electrically connecting between the resistance and at least one of the output lines, the displacement detecting device generating the output signal from the output lines based on the position of the brush, wherein one of the power supply line and the earth line is disposed between the output lines.

Displacement detecting device

A non-contact displacement detecting device including a permanent magnet fixed with a rotational member, a sensor portion fixed with a non-rotational member, and the sensor portion detects a displacement of a detected object connected with the shaft. The non-contact displacement detecting device includes a housing for supporting the rotational member rotatably and restricting one movement of the rotational member in an axial direction, and a holder for contacting with the rotational member at a plurality of contact points and restricting another movement of the rotational member in the axial direction. Thereby, the movement of the rotational member in the axial direction is restricted by the holder and the housing.

Non-contact rotational displacement detecting device

A position sensor including a rotational shaft (7), a plurality of brushes (13, 15, 17, 19) supported by the rotational shaft (7), a housing (3), a printed circuit board (21) fixed to the housing (3), a main conductor (M) provided on the printed circuit board (21) and contacting with the brushes (13, 15, 17, 19) for generating a primary signal in accordance with which a predetermined number of positions has been attained by the rotational shaft (7), and a subordinate conductor (S) provided on the circuit board (21) and contacting with the brushes (13, 15, 17, 19) for generating a secondary signal in accordance with the which a predetermined number of positions has been attained by the rotational shaft (7). The secondary signal keeps the same voltage level around a predetermined position. According to the present invention, the predetermined position of the rotational shaft (7) may be detected accurately. Further, the cost of the position sensor may be reduced.

Position sensor

A variable resister includes a housing made of a synthetic resin and having an inner space that opens to an open upper end of the housing, and a substrate made of a synthetic resin mounted on the housing for closing the open upper end of the housing to enclose the inner space. A resister is provided on the surface of the substrate and terminates in a conductive extremity while a conductive terminal electrically connected to a power supply terminates in an extremity that opposes the conductive extremity of the resister in the inner space. A conductive coil spring is elastically disposed between the conductive extremity of the resister and the extremity of the conductive terminal. A contact is disposed in sliding engagement with the resister such that a distance between the contact and the conductive extremity of the resister is used as a control variable.

Variable resister

A slide rheostat type linear characteristic sensor includes a detecting resistor R2 printed on a substrate 8. A brush 7 slides on the detecting resistor R2. Clamping resistors R1 and R3 are printed, simultaneously with the detecting resistor, on the substrate 8 at positions separate from a sliding area of the brush 7. The clamping resistors R1 and R3 are made of the same material as the detecting resistor R2.

Slide rheostat type linear characteristic sensor

A throttle sensor for an internal combustion engine includes a circuit board and a rotatable body disposed adjacent the circuit board which is connected to the throttle valve and having a pair of brushes disposed in sliding contact with the circuit board. A resistance body, including a basic resistance layer and a protective resistance layer covering a basic resistance layer are formed on the circuit board for engagement by one of the brushes, and a collecting body, including an electric conductive layer and an additional protective resistance layer covering the electric conductive layer is formed on the circuit board for engagement by the other brush. The protective resistance layers protect the basic resistance layers against undue wear and atmospheric conditions.

Throttle sensor for an internal combustion engine

A connection construction of a turning angle detector which comprises a lever in the form of a large-diameter member secured to a shaft to be detected and extending in the radial direction of the shaft to be detected, a pin secured at right angles to the lever, a connection shaft projecting outward from a boss portion of the turning angle detector and having a large-diameter portion larger than the diameter of the boss portion, and a pinching portion for pinching the pin in the large-diameter portion of the connection shaft so that the pin is movable in the radial direction and axial direction within its pinched range, but its movement in the circumferential direction is restricted, wherein the rotation of the shaft to be detected is transmitted to the connection shaft of the turning angle detector, whereby an error arising at the time of assembly can be absorbed by the space between the pinching portion and the pin to make easy the process of assembly, and it is possible to configure mutually tightly the connection shaft and the boss portion for supporting rotatably the connection shaft; thus, infiltration of water and the like can be prevented.

Connection construction of turning angle detector

A pressure switch comprising a housing, a diaphragm that divides the inside of the housing into a pressure chamber and an atmospheric chamber, a switch portion mounted in the atmospheric chamber, and a resilient cap fitted over the housing. A porous filter is held between the housing and the cap. The diaphragm is actuated according to the difference between the pressures inside the chambers. The switch portion consists of a movable contact and a fixed contact, and is connected to terminals.

A temperature responsive switch having a bimetal disc disposed within a recess in the switch body is provided with a guide member having a hole extending therethrough and a sperical shaped transmitting member disposed in the hole in contact with the bimetal disc. A leaf spring is secured to the body at one end thereof in overlying relation to the hole in engagement with the spherical shaped transmitting member. A moveable contact is fixed to the other end of the leaf spring and a stationary contact is provided on the body adjacent the moveable contact. A spring normally disposed between the body and the leaf spring biases the leaf spring in a direction to separate the contacts and upon over center movement of the bimetal disc the spherical shaped transmitting member will move the leaf spring against the force of the spring to bring the contacts into engagement with each other.
