A motor-driven compressor includes a housing that accommodates an inverter device. A noise reduction unit of the inverter device includes a common mode choke coil including a looped core and two windings wound around the core, and a looped conductor surrounding the two windings. The conductor is configured so that an induced current flows in the conductor in a circumferential direction of the conductor to resist changes in a leakage magnetic flux from the core. The conductor includes a housing-side conductor portion located between the two windings and the housing. The housing-side conductor portion includes a through-hole that extends through the housing-side conductor portion in the axial direction of the core. The housing includes a projection that is inserted into the through-hole and opposed to the two windings.

Motor-driven compressor with noise reduction unit

An electric compressor includes an electric motor, a filter circuit, a capacitor, an inverter circuit, a drive circuit, a power supply circuit, a switch that connects or disconnects a power supply path that passes power from the power supply circuit to the drive circuit, and a control circuit that controls an operation of the switch. The control circuit connects the power supply path in response to the voltage between the capacitor and the inverter circuit being higher than that between the power supply circuit and the drive circuit, and the control circuit disconnects the power supply path in response to the voltage between the capacitor and the inverter circuit being lower than the voltage between the power supply circuit and the drive circuit.

Electric compressor

An electric compressor including a rotary shaft, a compression part, an electric motor, an inverter circuit, a filter element disposed on an input side of the inverter circuit, the filter element including a capacitor connected in parallel to a direct current power source, a holder holding the filter element, a resistor having a lead portion electrically connected to the capacitor, and a housing having an inverter accommodation chamber in which the inverter circuit, the holder, and the capacitor are accommodated. The holder includes a metal plate having an internally threaded screw hole. The resistor is held by the holder with the metal plate interposed therebetween with a bolt screwed into the internal threaded screw hole. The holder is fixed to the housing. The holder is interposed between the lead portion and the housing. An insulating heat transfer member is interposed between the metal plate and the housing.

A controller for an on-vehicle inverter includes an arm circuit and a driver. The driver includes a high-side drive circuit, a low-side drive circuit, and a bootstrap capacitor. The on-vehicle inverter includes a smoothing capacitor. The smoothing capacitor is supplied with leak current by an internal power supply via the bootstrap capacitor and a high-side semiconductor device. The controller further includes a voltage detector and an insertion-removal determination unit. The insertion-removal determination unit is configured to determine whether a connector has been inserted or removed from a change in voltage at ends of a smoothing capacitor detected by a voltage detector.

Controller for on-vehicle inverter

A screw member that has passed through a holder insertion hole and a resistor insertion hole being screwed into an internal threaded hole fixes a holder and a resistor to a bottom wall of a motor housing member. Thus, the resistor is attached to the motor housing member using the screw member that attaches the holder to the motor housing member. This reduces the space in the inverter accommodation chamber.

Motor-driven compressor

An on-board electric compressor that comprises: a housing; a compression unit; an electric motor; and an inverter device. The inverter device comprises: an inverter circuit that converts direct current power to alternating current power; and a noise reduction unit that is provided on an input side of the inverter circuit and that reduces common mode noise and normal mode noise that are included in the direct current power. The noise reduction unit comprises: a common mode choke coil; and a smoothing capacitor that, in cooperation with the common mode choke coil, constitutes a low pass filter circuit. The common mode choke coil has: a core that has a first core part and a second core part; a first winding that is wound around the first core part; and a second winding that is wound around the second core part.

On-board electric compressor

The present disclosure provides an inductive element capable of lowering a Q-value. An inductive element includes a first cover and a second cover covering an annular core, and a first winding and a second winding wound around a region of the core, the first cover and the second cover. The first cover covers a part of an inner circumferential surface of the core, a part of an outer circumferential surface and an end surface on one end side in an axial direction. The second cover covers a part of the inner circumferential surface of the core, a part of the outer circumferential surface an end surface on the other end side in the axial direction.

An on-board electric compressor that comprises: a housing; a compression unit; an electric motor; and an inverter device. This on-vehicle power conversion apparatus is provided with: a power conversion circuit to which DC power is inputted; and a noise reduction unit that is configured to reduce common-mode noise and normal-mode noise which are included in the DC power and that is provided to the input side of the power conversion circuit. The noise reduction unit is provided with: a core having a first core part and a second core part; a common-mode chalk coil having a first winding wire wound around the first core part and a second winding wire wound around the second coil part; and a smoothing capacitor that constitutes a low-pass filter circuit cooperatively with the common-mode chalk coil. The power conversion apparatus is further provided with a damping unit provided at a position intersecting the magnetic path of a magnetic flux leakage.
