A packaging and filling device, a paper container, and a blank is disclosed, in which the container is substantially protected from permeation leakage from an end surface. The blank for the paper container comprises an upper part, a bottom part, and a cylindrical main body having four side walls and a square cross-section, and is formed by a packaging and filling device. The packaging and filling device comprises a loading unit for retrieving the blank and loading a cylindrical blank, a bottom-part-molding unit for molding the bottom part of the cylindrical blank and obtaining a container, a filling unit for filling the container with a liquid food item from an upper opening, and an upper-part-sealing unit for heat-sealing the upper opening.

Packaging and filling device, paper container and blank

A packaging and filling device, a paper container, and a blank is disclosed. The blank comprises a sixth panel in a readily foldable state prior to a step for forming a bottom part, and provides sufficient length in a folded portion to protect the end surface of a packaging material. The blank for the paper container is formed by the packaging and filling device and comprises a top part, a bottom part, and a cylindrical body having four side walls and a square cross-section. The packaging and filling device comprises a loading unit for retrieving the blank and loading a cylindrical blank, a bottom-part-molding unit for molding the bottom part of the cylindrical blank to obtain a container, a filling unit for filling the container with liquid food from an upper opening, and an upper-part-sealing unit for heat-sealing the upper opening.

A packaging and filling machine that is capable of easily preforming with the forming flaps by keeping the pressure of the filled liquid food in the tube at positive pressure, capable of preventing the pressure of the liquid food from dropping to negative pressure, even if the pressure of the liquid food decreases due to the change in the liquid food pressure, and capable of preventing outside atmosphere materials from invading into the tube. A pressure flange fixed on a periphery of the filling pipe absorbs fluctuation of the pressure of the liquid food in the tube below the pressure flange, and prevents the liquid food pressure from dropping to negative pressure to keep the pressure of the liquid food in the tube below the pressure flange at a positive pressure.

Packaging and filling machine

A packing and filling machine produces a container by forming web-shaped packing material into a tube, filling the tube with liquid food up to a liquid level, and laterally sealing the tube with a seal jaw and a counter jaw under the liquid level. The machine includes a diagnostic device having a pressure flange above the position of the lateral sealing under the liquid level and including sterilized gas to detect a vibration propagated when the packing material is clamped by the seal jaw and counter jaw and to diagnose the residual quantity of sterilized gas from the vibration thus detected. The packing and filling machine operating at high speed does not damage the external surface or the longitudinal sealing portion of a packing container, and even the forming/lateral sealing pressing from the opposite sides at high speed does not have a tendency to vary or oscillate the liquid level.

An object of the present invention is to provide a filling apparatus capable of reliably correcting the position of an overlap portion. The filling apparatus includes a forming ring including a plurality of forming rollers and disposed at a predetermined position along the traveling direction of a packaging material () in order to deform the packaging material () from a web-like shape to a tubular shape, and a longitudinal sealing device () for longitudinally sealing opposite side edges of the tubular packaging material (). One of the forming rollers includes a flange (or) which is moved axially by means of a moving mechanism section (). In this case, even when, within the forming ring, a side edge portion of the packaging material () of a certain size impinges on the flange (or), the flange (or) is caused to move accordingly to thereby avoid interfering with correction on the position of the overlap portion (LP). Therefore, the position of the overlap portion (LP) can be reliably corrected.

Filling apparatus

The sealing apparatus comprises (a) a heat seal jaw, (b) a heat seal bar having two heaters arranged in parallel, being provided in a front edge of said heat seal jaw and having a working surface, (c) a counter jaw disposed oppositely to the heat seal jaw, (d) a counter rail provided to said counter jaw and having the working surface, (e) a drive means for advancing/retracting the heat seal jaw and counter jaw relatively, (f) a heating means for actuating the heaters while clamping a packaging material by the working surface of the heat seal bar and the working of the counter rail and, (g) a cutter section comprising of a cutter disposed at the position between the two heaters and a resilient counter cutter, and is characterized in that the counter cutter is held by a holding section provided on the working surface of the heat seal bar or the counter rail and projecting from the holding working surface. The seal apparatus can improve hygiene and the flap formation of the packaging container.

Seal apparatus

A card game system is disclosed, which enables to execute the card game using a basic function of a video game apparatus. The card game system includes a card acceptance means for accepting a plurality of cards of either a first category or a second category each having information attached thereto for identifying each, a memory for storing card data and a program for controlling a card game, and a controlling means for defining the first category cards as the cards for use in a card game based on the card data, and for controlling to execute the card game according to the program stored in the memory, wherein the control means controls to execute the card game depending on the number of second category cards detected by the card acceptance means.

Card game system

A loop track for racing objects is disposed at the center of a race game device, for example for a simulated horse race. A plurality of racing objects, such as race horses, run on the track. The X- and Y-directional positions of the race horses are detected by a separable position detecting means underlying the track. The separable position detecting means allows for easier maintenance, transport, assembly, and disassembly of the device. Information regarding the positions of the horses is displayed on a game screen. Players can write memos to themselves on individual game screens by pressing a trace over the game information on the game screen. A control unit provides game information corresponding to other races other than a current race, including future races, and players may select information corresponding to future races on the individual game screen.

Filler

A heat-sealing device moves a tube-shaped packaging material through operation of a seal jaw and counter jaw under the liquid surface of liquid food, and heat-seals a seal zone containing a cutting predetermined zone in the tube transverse direction. The tube-shaped packaging material is formed from the packaging material web, and is filled up with liquid food. The operation surface of the seal jaw facing the seal zone has a substantially flat surface. The heat-sealing device has a removal/mixture mechanism on the operation surface of the counter jaw. The removal/mixture mechanism removes seal prevention impurity from this seal zone and/or mixes the impurity with the melting/softening packaging material in this seal zone. Thus, even if the packaging laminated material is covered with an oxide, residual substances, or impurities, the heat-sealing device reduces the bad influence of the seal prevention impurity.

Heat seal device

A structure of a box-like game unit to be arranged in large number outside of and adjacently to a main body of a game machine such as a casino game machine, a horse race game machine, a boat race game machine or the like. A loop track for race horses is disposed at the center of a horse race game device. Twelve race horses run on the track. A gate is disposed in a paddock in the track. The gate is advanced to a start point of the track from the paddock. Twelve satellites are disposed on three sides of the track. A large projector for displaying images of developments, etc. of a race is disposed on one of the short sides of the track. Speakers for live broadcasting, fanfares, BGM, etc. are disposed on both sides of the large projector. The horse race game device enables a larger number of running objects to be raced at once, whereby race developments are made more amusing.

A sealing apparatus is provided with a sealing block and inductors embedded in the sealing block. Each of the inductors is partially exposed above the surface of the sealing block and is provided with a first pressing portion for pressing the packaging material. The sealing apparatus also includes counter elements, each of which is disposed in opposing relation to the inductors so that packaging material can be squeezed between the counter elements and the inductors. In addition, a voltage applying device is provided for inductors and the counter elements are provided with a second pressing portion at a position corresponding to the portion of the packaging material that is nearer to a liquid food than to the sealing zone.

The present invention relates to plasmids whose hosts can be Escherichia coli and some kinds of yeasts, namely, shuttle vectors, as well as to processes for producing said plasmids. There are provided in the present invention (1) plasmids containing an autonomously replicating sequence of Candida maltosa, Leu 2 gene derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and an ampicillin resistance gene and (2) plasmids further containing a tetracycline resistance gene as well as the genes described in (1). The plasmids (shuttle vectors) of the present invention can be utilized as follows. A useful foreign gene is inserted into plasmids of the present invention; using the resulting new plasid, Escherichia coli is transformed and cultured in order to obtain the plasmid in a large amount; and using this plasmid, Saccharomyces cerevisiae or Candida maltosa as a host is allowed to produce useful substances such as hormones and enzymes on a large scale.
