A stator of a rotary electric machine comprises a stator core and a stator coil that is wound around the stator core. The stator coil includes a first segment coil, a second segment coil, and a first connecting member that has a first fitting recess portion at a first end of the first connecting member and a second fitting recess portion at a second end of the first connecting member, the first connecting member connecting the first segment coil and the second segment coil by fitting the first segment coil into the first fitting recess portion and by fitting the second segment coil into the second fitting recess portion.

Stator of rotary electric machine and method of manufacturing stator coil

A control device for a hybrid vehicle, including a mode whereby the vehicle runs using a motor only, and a mode whereby the vehicle uses both the motor and an engine. When the motor temperature of an MG() exceeds a threshold temperature, an ECU moves from a running mode that uses the MG() only, to a running mode that limits the load on the MG(). The ECU performs control in accordance with the charging state of the battery for running, such that the work rate of an electric pump for cooling the MG() is increased when the charging state is higher, and the running mode that uses the MG() only is maintained.

Control device for hybrid vehicle

Each of segment coils arranged as aligned in a slot of a stator core includes a coil central portion accommodated in the slot and two coil end portions protruding outward. The coil end portion of the two coil end portions includes a pair of coil pieces formed by inclining a coil at different angles toward the coil central portion with a vertex lying therebetween. Any one of the pair of coil pieces includes in a region in the vicinity of the vertex, a recessed step portion formed from two sides in non-parallel to and at an angle with respect to an end surface of the stator core.

A control device for a hybrid vehicle, including a mode whereby the vehicle runs using a motor only, and a mode whereby the vehicle uses both the motor and an engine. When the motor temperature of an MG() exceeds a threshold temperature, an ECU moves from a running mode that uses the MG() only, to a running mode that limits the load on the MG(). When the charging state of a battery for running exceeds a threshold value, the ECU performs control such that in addition to the system voltage for driving the MG() being reduced, the threshold temperature is increased, and the running mode whereby only the MG() is used is maintained.

An electric motor has a rotor, stator, and covers. A stator coil is a pre-wound coil inserted into slots of a stator core from its inner side. A no-lead-wire side coil end portion of the stator coil protrudes radially inward. A no-lead-wire side coolant chamber is liquid-tightly defined by the cover covering the no-lead-wire side coil end portion and a seal plate(s) that is attached from or on a radially inner side of the stator core so as to cover an opening between the inner peripheral edge of the cover and the inner peripheral edge of the stator core.

Electric motor

When a torque control value (TR) is larger than a threshold value and vehicular speed (SV) is lower than a threshold value an upper temperature limit setting unit sets the upper temperature limit of a motor generator at an upper temperature limit (TS) higher than a normally set upper temperature limit (TS). A torque limitation control controls limiting a torque of the motor generator, as based on a motor temperature (T) and the upper temperature limit set by the upper temperature limit setting unit.

Motor control device, motored vehicle equipped therewith, and method of controlling a motor

When a motor temperature exceeds a threshold value, a torque control unit reduces a torque control value for a motor generator. A torque limitation control unit determines from torque control value and vehicular speed whether limiting a torque by the torque control unit should be alleviated, and if so the torque limitation control unit activates a signal for a predetermined period of time. When the signal is activated, the torque control unit stops reducing the torque control value and fixes the torque control value to be constant.

An interphase insulating member allowing reduction in size of a rotating electric machine is provided. The interphase insulating member includes a flat portion interposed between and insulating neighboring two phases of coil ends, and a three-dimensional portion protruding from the flat portion and guiding the coil. On a surface of the flat portion, epoxy resin layer is provided as a reinforcing member.

A connector structure that can ensure connection is provided. In the connector structure, a bus bar and a plate-like terminal mate with each other to establish an electric connection. A lower-side inner surface as a first inner surface defining the opening is provided with a plurality of conductive rotary members that rotate in a direction substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the plate-like terminal is inserted. It is also provided with a frame member that holds the rotary members and that is connected to the bus bar. The rotary members are twisted relative to the frame member and thereby biased relative to the plate-like terminal. By the plate-like terminal being inserted into and pulled out from the bus bar, the rotary members receive force from the plate-like terminal and rotate within a plane substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the plate-like terminal is inserted and pulled out.

Connector structure and connector type terminal block structure

Three-dimensional portions are made of the same PET resin as are flat portions, only thicker. That is, the three-dimensional portions are more rigid than the flat portions. The three-dimensional portions are bonded to the flat portions at cutout portions thereof by a thermo-compression sheet or adhesive tape or the like. Connecting portions are made of PET resin that is thinner than the PET resin of which the flat portions are made. A phase insulation paper is provided in which the connecting portions are bonded at both ends to the flat portions, and an electric motor is provided in which the phase insulation paper is inserted between stator coils.
