In a multiple type air conditioner system which includes a plurality of outdoor units and a plurality of indoor units, the plurality of outdoor units are connected with the plurality of indoor units through a communication line, address setting is attained by generating a random address from each of all the indoor units under a command of one of the outdoor units and generating a dummy address from each outdoor unit on the basis of the random address, by obtaining a correlative relationship between the outdoor and indoor units on the basis of a variation of a physical quantity of the outdoor unit connected to the indoor unit actually operated based on the dummy address, and by updating the addresses of all the outdoor and indoor units on the basis of the correlative relationships between all the outdoor and indoor units obtained through the step.

Multiple type air conditioner system and address setting method thereof

An air conditioning control system ensuring the desired full utility so that the operation of a plurality of air conditioners installed in a building can be controlled and monitored at a plurality of spots in the building. The air conditioning control system includes a building's central monitor board controlling and monitoring the operation of the individual air conditioners, and a centralized control unit relaying air conditioner control information outputted from the central monitor board and information indicating the operation status of the individual air conditioners, each of the central monitor board and the centralized control unit including an input part inputting the control information to the individual air conditioners and a display part displaying the operation status information regarding the individual air conditioners. The centralized control unit further includes a decision part deciding to identify newest control information inputted from the input part of each of the central monitor board and the centralized control unit and a transmitter part transmitting this newest control information to the individual air conditioners.

Air conditioning control system

An air conditioner in which an outdoor unit having a compressor, a condenser, and expansion valve and an outdoor fan and an indoor unit having an evaporator and an indoor fan are connected by a piping to form a refrigerating cycle, and which has an outdoor air introducing mechanism including a damper disposed in an air flow path of the indoor fan of the indoor unit so as to enable introduction of outdoor air into the room. The air conditioner has: a comparison means for periodically comparing the room temperature with a room temperature set point; an alteration means for altering, on the basis of the output from the comparison means, a mixed air temperature initial set point preliminarily determined; and a control means for controlling the operations of the outdoor air introduction damper, the outdoor and indoor fans and the compressor.

Air conditioner having outdoor air introducing mechanism

In an air conditioner separated into an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, a control circuit comprises a three-phase power source connected in common to the indoor and outdoor units, and a signal line led out from two phases of the power source. A contact of an electromagnetic relay energizing a compressor of the air conditioner is connected on the portion of the signal line in the indoor unit in series with a current sensor sensing the current flowing through the signal line, and a contact of a protective relay protecting the compressor is connected on the portion of the signal line in the outdoor unit in series with the electromagnetic relay. A first controller is disposed in the indoor unit for controlling on-off of the relay contact of the electromagnetic relay, and a second controller is disposed in the outdoor unit for energizing the protective relay contact thereby controlling on-off of the compressor.
