A wireless apparatus includes a wireless unit to convert a wireless signal received by an antenna into a baseband signal; and a baseband processing apparatus to receive a packet corresponding to the baseband signal via a communication line connected with the wireless unit, to detect an error in a transmission process of the packet via the communication line, to obtain the baseband signal based on packets other than the packet in which the error is detected, to generate transmission power information used for downlink transmission power control based on the obtained baseband signal, to transmit the baseband signal having the generated transmission power information reflected to the wireless unit via the communication line, and to have the wireless unit execute wireless transmission of a wireless signal corresponding to the baseband signal having the transmission power information reflected.

A radio communication apparatus includes a baseband processing unit and a radio unit. The baseband processing unit transmits, to the radio unit, first data indicating a plurality of candidates for instructions corresponding to a plurality of values to be taken by the control information before obtaining the control information on radio communication. Furthermore, the baseband processing unit transmits, to the radio unit, second data for identifying the instruction corresponding to the value of the obtained control information of the plurality of candidates for instructions, after obtaining the control information. The radio unit performs processing in accordance with the instruction identified by the received second data of the plurality of candidates for instructions indicated by the received first data.

A mobile terminal includes a channel estimation processor to obtain the channel estimation value of a first channel reception signal in use of a plurality of known signals received from a base station within a channel estimation period; a channel compensation processor to perform a compensation process of the first channel reception signal in use of the channel estimation value; and a controller to control the channel estimation period so as to use a known signal which is received after the reception of the first channel reception signal for channel compensation. With this, throughput in downlink communication can be improved by controlling the deterioration of HS-SCCH reception quality itself without any particular transmission power control with the base station even under an environment such as high speed fading.

Mobile terminal apparatus and channel compensation method of the same

A mobile terminal apparatus includes a channel compensation processor configured to carry out a channel compensation process on a first channel reception signal using a channel estimation value obtained for the first channel based on a plurality of known signals received from a base station; and a channel re-compensation processor to carry out a channel compensation process again on the first channel with a channel estimation value of the first channel obtained based on a plurality of known signals including at least a known signal which is received after reception of the first channel when a decoding result of the first channel reception signal after the channel compensation process by the processor is defined as an error. With this, error rate of the first channel is reduced and the number of retransmission according to HARQ is reduced, so that throughput in the mobile terminal can be improved.
