A symbol input method performed by a symbol input device having a display unit, a selector, and a determiner includes: displaying, by the display unit, a correspondence table indicating correspondences between input target symbols and selection target symbols and indicating that each of the input target symbols corresponds to one or more selection target symbols; ending the displaying by the display unit; prompting, by the selector, after the ending, a user to select one of the selection target symbols included in the displayed correspondence table; and determining, by the determiner, one input target symbol as a symbol to be input. The input target symbol is indicated in the displayed correspondence table and corresponds to the selection target symbol selected by the user in the prompting.

Symbol input method and symbol input device

The communication device is installed in a predetermined space. The communication device receives and displays content distributed only within a variable available viewing time. The communication device includes an available viewing time calculation unit configured to calculate the available viewing time, a replay time calculation unit configured to calculate the replay time needed to replay predetermined content, a warning determination unit configured to compare the replay time and the available viewing time and generate warning information when the replay time exceeds the available viewing time, and a display unit configured to display the warning information generated by the warning determination unit.

Variable available viewing time communication device and system

A noise control device includes the following structural elements. A signal memory records both of a noise signal supplied from a noise microphone and an error signal supplied from an error microphone. A filter coefficient calculator calculates a fixed filter coefficient of a control filter by using data recorded in the signal memory. A filter coefficient renewing section renews, at a given timing, a filter coefficient set at a fixed filter in a control filter to a filter coefficient read out from the filter coefficient calculator.

Noise reduction device

A wireless network system arranges a plurality of access points along the aisles in a vehicle having two or more aisles. The positions of the access points on the first aisle and the positions of the access points on the second aisle are arranged in a zigzag pattern. The distance between neighboring access points is thus great, and there is no signal interference between adjacent access points.
