A fuel supply device (FS) includes a filler neck () that includes a nozzle guiding path that guides a fuel supply nozzle (FN), and a fuel passage that is continuous to the nozzle guiding path on a downstream side of the fuel passage, through which fuel that has been discharged from the fuel supply nozzle (FN) passes; a fuel vapor port () located outside of the filler neck () that has a through hole (H) that communicates with the fuel passage (Pd); and a vapor introduction body () that guides the fuel vapor from the fuel vapor port to the fuel passage (Pd). The vapor introduction body () includes a within-through-hole support () that is inserted into and held in the through hole (H), and includes a vapor passage () along the through hole (H), and a changing member () that faces an opening of the vapor passage () on a side of the fuel passage (Pd), and is configured to change a direction of flow of the fuel vapor that passes through the vapor passage () to the side of the fuel passage (). The vicinity of the fuel vapor port in the filler neck is configured compactly.

Fuel supply device

A fuel cutoff valve comprises a casing and a float mechanism having a float and a seat portion. An upper vent hole is formed in the upper wall portion of the float, and a side portion communication hole is formed in the side wall portion. The passage area of the side portion communication hole is set so as to allow a large volume of vapors entering the float chamber to escape into the valve chamber. The passage area of the upper vent hole is set so that vapor entering the float chamber when the vehicle inclines escapes into the valve chamber, and the float chamber fills with fuel lifting the float, whereas when the vehicle turns sharply, the float is lifted without the float chamber filling with fuel.

Fuel cutoff valve

A fuel cutoff valve of the invention includes a casing body having a valve chamber and a holder element, a float having a seat member on its top, a movable valve element that is fitted in the holder element in a vertically movable manner, and a first connection conduit and a second connection conduit that connect inside of the valve chamber with outside. When the fuel level in a fuel tank rises to a preset first fluid level, the float moves up to shut off the first connection conduit. When the fuel level further rises to a preset second fluid level, the float further moves up to press the movable valve element up and shut off the second connection conduit. The fuel cutoff valve of this simple structure effectively prevents a blowing back flow of fuel in the course of fuel supply without requiring any subtle setting of a spring load.

An apparatus is for inhibiting fuels from flowing out of fuel tanks, and includes a cover, a breather pipe, an upper case, a lower case, and a floating valve. The upper case is welded to the breather pipe in an airtight manner so as to form a chamber for holding the lower case, in which the floating valve is accommodated, therein. Moreover, the breather pipe is welded to the cover in an airtight manner. The apparatus not only obviates O-rings but also is downsized, because the upper case and the breather pipe are sealed by welding.

Apparatus for inhibiting fuel from flowing out of fuel tanks

There is provided a liquid filled type vibration isolator in which damping action for both engine idling vibration and engine shake is carried out with the use of a single orifice. In the liquid filled type vibration isolator comprising a rubber-like insulator for absorbing and isolating vibration transmitted from an oscillating body, a main chamber having a chamber wall formed by a part of the insulator, and hermetically charged therein with liquid, an auxiliary chamber connected to the main chamber through the intermediary of an orifice and having a chamber wall a part of which is formed by a first diaphragm, a partition member partitioning between the main chamber and the auxiliary chamber, a working chamber defined and formed with respect to the main chamber by means of a second diaphragm, wherein the second diaphragm has a deforming stiffness which is higher than that of the first diaphragm. The liquid in the orifice effects resonant oscillation with a vibration input during engine idling operation.

Liquid filled type vibration isolator

A vibration absorber for absorbing a vibration between first and second members each of which is connected to the vibration absorber, includes a movable member adapted to contact with a fluid, and including a portion connected mechanically to one of the first and second members so that a movement of the fluid and a movement of the portion of the movable member correspond to each other, and a fluid moving member for flowing the fluid in either of an extension direction in which the portion of the movable member moves to increase a distance between the first and second members and a contraction direction in which the portion of the movable member moves to decrease the distance between the first and second members in such a manner that the vibration is restrained by a change of the distance between the first and second members from being transmitted between the first and second member.

Vibration absorber

A liquid sealed-type vibration-insulating device includes an upper connection member to be mounted on a vibrating member; a lower connection member of a cup-shape to be mounted on a member on a vehicle body; a vibration-insulating rubber member provided between the upper and lower connection members; an annular plate fixedly secured to a lower portion of the vibration-insulating rubber member; a tubular metal member connecting the annular plate to an upper open end of the lower connection member; a heat-resistant rubber sheet member connected between an upper open end of the tubular metal member and the upper connection member; a main liquid chamber formed by the vibration-insulating rubber member and the lower connection member; an auxiliary liquid chamber formed by the vibration-insulating rubber member and the heat-resistant rubber sheet member; an orifice communicating the main liquid chamber with the auxiliary liquid chamber; and a stopper member which is connected to the upper connection member and is located within the main liquid chamber. The stopper member abuts against the annular plate and a bottom of the lower connection member which serves as a stopper mechanism operative in upward and downward directions. The stopper also abuts against a side wall of the lower connection member which serves as a stopper mechanism operative in a radial direction.
