There are provided electric cells, a battery pack containing three or more electric cells, a battery control system and a battery control method. An electric cell for a battery pack will be interconnected with another cell to be used as a battery pack. For example, an electric cell comprises an electrochemical cell, a communication unit communicating with other electric cells, a measurement unit acquiring cell-state of the electrochemical cell, and a discharge unit discharging the electrochemical cell. The communication unit transmits a cell-state of the electrochemical cell and receives external information. The discharging unit discharges the electrochemical cell based upon both the cell-state of the electrochemical cell and the received external information.

There are provided a battery control system and a battery control method which can eliminate a management device controlling voltages of individual cells in a battery pack, resist the influence of noise, prevent an increase in size, and reduce the load on a management device. A cell for a battery pack will be interconnected with another cell to be used as a battery pack, the cell comprises unit celland control circuit, unit cellis one electrochemical cell, and control circuitincludes: measurement meansfor acquiring cell-state information including at least a voltage of unit cell; transmission meansfor transmitting the cell-state information to the outside; reception meansfor receiving external information; and meansfor discharging unit cellbased upon the cell-state information on unit celland the external information, to bring the voltages of interconnected cells closer.
