A vehicle controller controls a power train of a vehicle and is configured to switch control of the power train between first control and second control. The second control reduces operating noise of the power train by a greater degree than the first control. The vehicle controller is configured to based on sounds in a passenger compartment, perform mood determination in order to determine whether an occupant of the vehicle is in a state of high tolerance for the operating noise or in a state of low tolerance for the operating noise; control the power train through the first control when determining that the occupant is in the state of high tolerance through the mood determination; and control the power train through the second control when determining that the occupant is in the state of low tolerance through the mood determination.

Vehicle controller

A vehicle is configured to be charged with power supplied from the outside. The vehicle includes a storage battery, an interface configured to present a driver with power information on a state of charge of the storage battery, a monitoring device configured to monitor the driver and detect a confirmation operation of the driver for the interface, and a control device configured to complete, when the state of charge of the storage battery reaches a predetermined value during charging, the charging. The control device determines the predetermined value based on the state of charge of the storage battery calculated according to a detection frequency of the confirmation operation by the monitoring device.

The heat conducting member fills a space between the opposite wall and the cooler including the inside of the recessed groove.

A vehicle includes a drive device for traveling, and a control device configured to control the drive device so that the vehicle travels with a target driving force based on an accelerator operation amount. The control device is configured to set the target driving force such that a change in the target driving force with respect to a change in the accelerator operation amount is gentler in a case where steady traveling is desired as compared with a case where the steady traveling is not desired. Therefore, in a case where the steady traveling is desired, a variation of a vehicle speed with respect to a slight variation of the accelerator operation amount can be gentle and continuous steady traveling can be facilitated.

The separator is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. A battery monitoring device monitoring a battery unit connecting battery blocks, the battery unit being configured by each of the battery blocks connecting battery cells, includes: a voltage detection circuit connected to each of the plurality of battery cells via a voltage detection line; a first equalization circuit as a circuit provided with at least a first switching element, the first equalization circuit being disposed for each of the battery cells and connected to the corresponding battery cell; a resistor element disposed on the voltage detection line; a second equalization circuit as a circuit provided with at least a second switching element, the second equalization circuit being disposed for each of the battery blocks and connected to the corresponding battery block; and a controller configured to control driving of the switching elements. The second equalization circuit is connected further on the battery block side than the resistor element.

Battery monitoring device

An electricity storage system includes an electricity storage block including an electricity storage element for performing charging and discharging; a relay switched between an ON state in which the electric storage block is connected to a load and an OFF state in which a connection between the electricity storage block and the load is cut off; a controller for controlling the ON state and the OFF state of the relay; and a current cutoff circuit so as to cut off energization of the electricity storage block. The current cutoff circuit has an alarm circuit to indicate that the electricity storage block is in an overcharged state by comparing a voltage value of the electricity storage block and a threshold; a latch circuit retains the alarm signal; and a transistor receives an output signal of the latch circuit and switches the relay from the ON state to the OFF state.

Electricity storage system

An electrical storage system includes an electrical storage device (); a relay (SMR-B, SMR-G, SMR-P) switching between on/off states; a current interruption circuit () interrupting energization of the electrical storage device by causing the relay to switch from the on state to the off state; and a controller () executing drive control over the relay. The current interruption circuit includes an alarm circuit () outputting an alarm signal indicating overcharging/overdischarging of any one electrical storage block by comparing a voltage value of each electrical storage block with a threshold; a latch circuit () retaining the alarm signal; and a transistor () causing the relay to switch from the on state to the off state upon reception of an output signal of the latch circuit. The controller determines an energization state of the electrical storage device by executing control for turning on the relay while control for causing the alarm circuit to output the alarm signal is being executed.

An electrical storage system includes a relay switching between an on state where an electrical storage device () is connected to a load and an off state where connection of the electrical storage device with the load is interrupted; a controller controlling an on-off state of the relay; and a current interruption circuit () interrupting energization of the electrical storage device. An electric vehicle includes: a storage device configured to store power used for traveling; an auxiliary battery configured to store power supplied to an auxiliary load; a converter configured to charge the auxiliary battery by using power supplied from the storage device; and a shut-off device configured to switch between a supply condition in which power is supplied to the auxiliary load from the auxiliary battery and a shut-off condition in which power is not supplied to the auxiliary load from the auxiliary battery. During control of the electric vehicle, the converter is controlled such that an output voltage of the converter is higher when the shut-off device is in the shut-off condition than when the shut-off device is in the supply condition.
