In a waterproof structure for a connector, in order to prevent that water is infiltrated into openings of cavities accommodating terminals, a pair of housings include resin annular members which protrude in a fitting direction to surround the openings. One annular member has a protrusion part which is formed on a way between a tip and a root thereof over an entire circumference. The protrusion part is formed to have a top part which presses an inner circumferential surface or an outer circumferential surface of the counterpart annular member at a time of fitting the pair of housings.

Waterproof structure for connector

A fitting structure of a connector which fits a pair of housings to each other, the fitting structure is provided with a first step portion and a second step portion on at least a part of an outer circumferential surface of one housing, and a third step portion and a fourth step portion on at least a part or an inner circumferential surface of the other housing. The first step portion extends in an axial direction. The second step portion protrudes more highly than the first step portion and is positioned on a rear side of the first step portion and extends in the axial direction. The third step portion is in contact with the first step portion and extends in the axial direction. The fourth step portion is in contact with the second step portion and extends in the axial direction.

Fitting structure of connector

A connector waterproofing structure watertightly seals a gap between openings of cavities of a pair of housings which accommodate terminals. In the structure, the pair of housings includes annular members formed at each of ends of the openings. The annular members are made of resin, protrude and surround the openings, either one of the annular members is formed into such a shape to be pressed to an inner peripheral surface or an outer peripheral surface of the opposite annular member, when the pair of housings are fitted together, and the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface are obliquely formed so that the wall thickness of the opposite annular member is gradually increased from the distal end toward the back.

Connector waterproofing structure

A waterproofing structure for a connector includes a first housing having a first terminal reception chamber for receiving a terminal and a second housing having a second terminal reception chamber for receiving a terminal. An opening end of the first terminal reception chamber is opposed to an opening end of the second terminal reception chamber, so that a gap with which circumferential edges of the opening ends are opposed to each other is configured to be sealed. An annular member made of resin is provided at the circumferential edge of the opening end of the first terminal reception chamber, the annular member having an inner circumferential surface widened toward the second housing. The circumferential edge of the opening end of the second terminal reception chamber abuts against the inner circumferential surface of the annular member.

Waterproofing structure for connector

A peg press-fitting structure for a connector includes a peg which is made from a metal plate to fix a housing of the connector to a circuit board, and which is attached to the housing by being press-fitted from the distal end of the peg into a peg attaching slot of the housing of the connector. The housing is provided with an end wall where an entrance of the peg attaching slot opens. A press-fitting position regulating projection, which regulates the press-fitting position of the peg by abutting against the end wall of the housing where the entrance of the peg attaching slot opens, is provided closer to the base end of the peg than a press-fitted portion of the peg that is press-fitted into the peg attaching slot.

Peg press-fitting structure for connector

A connector housing, terminals which have press-connecting blades that are exposed from the back end surface of the connector housing, a bus bar plate which is mounted to the back end surface of the connector housing, and a cover which is mounted by a pressing force which makes the press-connecting blades that penetrate insulators to be press-connected to signal lines of a shield attached flat cable, and makes a shield member contact the bus bar, and which holds and fixes an electric wire sheath attached part between the cover and the connector housing are included.

Connector

A connector device includes an electric wire side connector to which a shielded electric wire is connected, and a board side connector that is connected to a circuit board. The electric wire side connector is engaged with the board side connector. The electric wire side connector includes an electric wire side housing and an electric wire clamping member. The board side connector includes a board side housing and a fixing metal fitting. A bus bar plate electrically contacts the fixing metal fittings when the board side connector is engaged with the electric wire side connector.

Connector device

A first shielding case of a receptacle respectively has arms extending to a forward side to be forwardly folded back from proximal ends fixed to a back end of an upper surface wall, stopper walls formed on free ends of the arms and projecting from outside to inside of the first shielding case and abut on an unauthorized plug in inserting the unauthorized plug, plug pickup parts formed on the free ends of the arms and are integrally formed in parallel with the stopper walls and projecting from outside to inside of the first shielding case and abut on an authorized plug in of inserting the authorized plug, and holes formed near to an opening of the upper surface wall, the holes into which the stopper walls and the plug pickup parts are inserted, on both ends of a width direction.

Wrong insertion preventive structure of connector

A connector includes a housing and terminal fittings attached to a printed circuit board. The terminal fittings form two terminal rows. In the terminal rows, one end parts of the terminal fittings are piled in a fitting plate part of the housing to which a mate side connector is fitted in a mutually parallel state and arranged in parallel with a surface of the printed circuit board. Central parts of the terminal fittings are bent. The other end parts are connected to a conductor pattern of the printed circuit board. In the other end parts of the terminal fittings, outward bent parts are provided which are bent outward in the direction of width of the housing. Tip ends of the other end parts of all the terminal fittings are arranged with spaces left between them along the direction of width of the housing.

A connector is provided to press-fit terminals in terminal-press-fitting holes of a housing, and electric contact parts of contacts are aligned in respective terminal-alignment grooves in the housing. A pair of concave pressed parts and a pair of curved convex parts are formed on opposite surfaces of the press-fit fixing part, respectively. The pair of concave pressed parts and the pair of curved convex parts are provided on opposite lateral ends of the press-fit fixing part with a predetermined gap to each remain a non-deformed part between the pair of concave pressed parts and between the pair of curved convex parts to be flat so that a first area of the second surface on which the non-deformed part is remained is flush with a second area continuous to the first area in the longitudinal direction of the press-fit fixing part.
