An electronic control device comprises a circuit board on which electronic components are mounted, a connector block integrated with a connector that is electrically connected to the circuit board, a base to which the circuit board is fixed, and a cover that can be fitted to circumferential grooves that are formed in the base and the connector block respectively so that a connecting portion of the connector protrudes to the outside while accommodating the circuit board that is fixed to the base. Furthermore, a ventilation hole is formed in a section of the connector block excluding a formation position of the connector so as to communicate an inner space with an outer space of the cover, and a sealing material that seals the ventilation hole is further provided.

Electronic control device and method for manufacturing the same

An electric drive device has a motor housing accommodating therein an electric motor; a pair of supporting stems arranged so as to face to each other on an end surface, which is an opposite side to an output shaft portion of a rotation shaft of the electric motor, of the motor housing and extending in a direction of the rotation shaft which is an opposite direction to the output shaft portion; a heat radiation base body arranged between the pair of supporting stems and extending in the same direction as those of the supporting stems; fixing bolts screwed into the heat radiation base body from a radially outer side to a radially inner side through the supporting stems and connecting the supporting stems and the heat radiation base body; one electronic control unit of a redundant system, arranged along a direction in which the heat radiation base body extends and having a board that is fixed to the heat radiation base body with thermal conduction to the heat radiation base body allowed; and the other electronic control unit of the redundant system, arranged along a direction in which the heat radiation base body extends and having a board that is fixed to the heat radiation base body with thermal conduction to the heat radiation base body allowed.

Electric drive device and electric power steering device

In an electric power steering apparatus, a motor housing includes an axial end part opposite to an output part of an electric motor. An electronic control section is arranged at the axial end part of the motor housing. The electronic control section includes a control circuit part, a power supply circuit part, and a power conversion circuit part. The axial end part of the motor housing includes a power conversion part thermal radiation region and a power supply part thermal radiation region. The power conversion circuit part is mounted to the power conversion part thermal radiation region to allow heat to be transferred from the power conversion circuit part to the motor housing. The power supply circuit part is mounted to the power supply part thermal radiation region to allow heat to be transferred from the power supply circuit part to the motor housing.

Electric drive apparatus, and electric power steering apparatus

A power supplying-side terminal () has a power supplying-side hanging portion (H) extending toward a surface of the circuit board (), a power supplying-side extending portion (E) bent from the power supplying-side hanging portion (H) and extending outwards along the surface of the circuit board () and a power supplying-side standing portion (S) bent from the power supplying-side extending portion (E) and extending in a direction away from circuit board (). A power receiving-side terminal () has a power receiving-side extending portion (E) extending outwards along the surface of the circuit board () and a power receiving-side standing portion (S) bent from the power receiving-side extending portion (E) and extending in the direction away from circuit board (). The power supplying-side standing portion (S) and the power receiving-side standing portion (S) overlap each other, and connected to each other so as to have electrical continuity.

In an electric power steering device, a motor housing includes an end face part opposite to an output part of a rotating shaft of an electric motor. A power conversion circuit part includes a power conversion switching circuit part, and a second part exclusive of the power conversion switching circuit part. The power conversion switching circuit part includes an upper arm switching element and a lower arm switching element packaged by synthetic resin, and is mounted on a power conversion switching circuit board that is mounted to a power conversion switching circuit part heat dissipation section of the end face part for heat dissipation. A power supply circuit part and the second part of the power conversion circuit part are mounted on a power supply circuit board that is mounted to a power supply circuit part heat dissipation section of the end face part for heat dissipation.

An electric drive device includes a motor housing including a housing end face part opposite to an output part of a rotating shaft of an electric motor. The housing end face part includes a power conversion circuit part heat dissipation section and a power supply circuit part heat dissipation section formed to allow at least generated heat of the power conversion circuit part and the power supply circuit part to be transferred to the motor housing. A sensor magnet is fixed to an end part of the rotating shaft opposite to the output part of the rotating shaft and structured to constitute a rotation-sensing target part for sensing rotation of the rotating shaft. The power conversion circuit part heat dissipation section of the housing end face part is positioned closer to the electric motor than the sensor magnet.

An electric drive device includes a housing with a motor-housing-side annular groove portion formed on an outer peripheral surface of an end surface portion of the housing, on an opposite side to an output portion of a rotation shaft of an electric motor section. The groove portion is formed by an annular groove retreating inward in the radial direction orthogonal to the axial line of the housing. A metal-cover-side distal end portion is formed at the opening end of a metal cover covering an electronic control unit that controls the electric motor section, and faces the groove from the outer side. A space between the groove portion and the distal end portion is filled with a liquid sealant, and an annular inclined surface is inclined so it is widened outward in the radial direction of the metal cover is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the groove portion.

In an electric drive device, a motor housing includes an end face part opposite to an output part of a rotating shaft of a motor. An electronic control part is arranged at the end face part of the motor housing, and includes a control circuit part, a power supply circuit part, and a power conversion circuit part. The power conversion circuit part is mounted to a power conversion part heat dissipation region of the end face part of the motor housing. The power supply circuit part is mounted to a power supply part heat dissipation region of the end face part of the motor housing. A power conversion circuit part holder is attached to a portion of the end face part around the rotating shaft, and includes a resilient function member structured to press and hold the power conversion circuit part on the power conversion part heat dissipation region.

Provided is an electric drive device in which heat-dissipating sections (A) (B) that transfer at least heat generated by a power supply circuit unit () and power conversion circuit units () to a motor housing () are formed on an end surface section () of the motor housing () on the opposite side from an output section of a rotating shaft () of an electric motor. In addition, a watertight lid member () that covers a through hole () through which the rotating shaft passes and the end of the rotating shaft () from the exterior is attached to the end surface section () around the through hole (), and a waterproof breathable membrane () that prevents the passage of moisture while allowing the passage of air and water vapor is provided to part of the watertight lid member.

In an electrical connection terminal assembly and an electromotive drive device, a connector-side terminal is divided into two portions along an insertion direction of the connector-side terminal, thereby constituting divided terminal pieces. These divided terminal pieces are inserted between elastic terminal pieces of a base-board-side terminal, thereby electrically connecting the two parties. In this manner, the connector-side terminal is divided into the two portions to constitute the divided terminal pieces, and thus the rigidity of each of the divided terminal pieces can be decreased. Even if the connector-side terminal has been connected to the base-board-side terminal by prying, the divided terminal pieces of the connector-side terminal deform readily to follow the shape of the base-board-side terminal and thus it is possible to suppress an increased change in an electrical resistance and/or a thermal resistance between the base-board-side terminal and the connector-side terminal.

An electric drive device has a motor housing accommodating an electric motor, a heat radiation base body fixed to an end surface, which is opposite side to an output shaft portion of a motor rotation shaft, of the motor housing and extending in a rotation shaft direction that is opposite side to output shaft portion, one electronic control unit of redundant system, arranged along direction in which heat radiation base body extends and having board, fixed to the heat radiation base body with thermal conduction to heat the radiation base body allowed, and the other electronic control unit of redundant system, arranged along direction in which the heat radiation base body extends and having a board, fixed to the heat radiation base body with thermal conduction to heat radiation base body allowed. Boards of both electronic control units are fixed to the heat radiation base body with boards slanting with respect to an extension direction of the heat radiation base body.
