A radiological image conversion panelis provided with a phosphorcontaining a fluorescent material that emits fluorescence by radiation exposure, in which the phosphor includes, a columnar sectionformed by a group of columnar crystals which are obtained through columnar growth of crystals of the fluorescent material, and a non-columnar section, the columnar section and the non-columnar section are integrally formed to overlap in a crystal growth direction of the columnar crystals, and a thickness of the non-columnar section along the crystal growth direction is non-uniform in a region of at least a part of the non-columnar section.

A radiological image conversion panelprovided with a supportand a phosphorwhich is formed on the support and contains a fluorescent material that emits fluorescence by radiation exposure. The phosphor includes a columnar sectionformed by a group of columnar crystals which are obtained through columnar growth of crystals of the fluorescent material, and a non-columnar section. The columnar section and the non-columnar section are integrally formed to overlap in a crystal growth direction of the columnar crystals, and a porosity at the columnar section side of the non-columnar section is higher than a porosity at the support side of the non-columnar section.

Radiological image detection apparatus and method of manufacturing the same

The X-ray image detection apparatusincludes: a scintillator panelincluding a phosphorthat is formed on a supportand emits fluorescence by irradiation of radiation; and a photodetectorthat detects the fluorescence emitted by the phosphor as an electric signal, wherein the phosphorincludes a columnar sectionformed by growing crystals of a fluorescent material in a columnar shape, and a non-columnar sectionprovided between the columnar sectionand the supportand has a porosity lower than that of the columnar section, and the scintillator panelis disposed at the rear side of the photodetectorin a radiation travelling direction, and in the phosphor, the non-columnar sectionis disposed at a side opposite to the photodetector side.
