An electronic component that has fewer cracks during production is provided. The electronic component includes an outer electrode on a multilayer body, which includes an inner glass layer, a magnetic material layer on top and bottom surfaces of the inner glass layer, and an outer glass layer on top and bottom surfaces of the magnetic material layer. The insulating layers of the inner glass layer and the outer glass layers contain a dielectric glass material that contains a glass material containing at least K, B, and Si, quartz, and alumina. The glass material content of each insulating layer of the inner glass layer ranges from approximately 60%-65% by weight, the quartz content of each insulating layer of the inner glass layer ranges from approximately 34%-37% by weight, and the alumina content of each insulating layer of the inner glass layer ranges from approximately 0.5%-4% by weight.

Electronic component

A component main body has a multilayer structure having a thickness and in which a first dielectric glass layer in which an internal conductor is embedded and having a thickness is interposed between a pair of magnetic layers containing a ferrite material as a primary component, and each of a pair of second dielectric glass layers is disposed on one of principal surfaces of the pair of magnetic layers. First to fourth outer electrodes are disposed on both end portions of the component main body. The thickness of at least one of the pair of second dielectric glass layers that faces a mounting substrate is about 10 &#x3bc;m to 64 &#x3bc;m.

Multilayer coil component

An electronic component with a plurality of coil conductor layers laminated such that a coil conductor having a coil pattern on a surface of an insulation layer is formed on each of the plurality of coil conductor layers. The electronic component includes a laminated body in which a bottom face side extended electrode layer, a primary coil conductor layer including a primary coil conductor, a secondary coil conductor layer including a secondary coil conductor, a tertiary coil conductor layer including a tertiary coil conductor, a parallel primary coil conductor layer including a parallel primary coil conductor, and a top face side extended electrode layer are laminated in this order. The electronic component further includes first through sixth external electrodes on a surface of the laminated body, which are connected to the primary, secondary, tertiary and parallel primary coil conductors.

A coil component includes a device main body composed of an insulator, a coil conductor which is disposed inside or on a surface of the device main body, and an outer electrode which is disposed on a surface of the device main body and electrically connected to the coil conductor. The outer electrode includes a Ag-containing layer containing Ag grains with an average grain size of 4.2 to 15 &#x3bc;m.

Coil component

A coil component including a multilayer body, at least one coil provided inside the multilayer body, and outer electrodes disposed on at least one surface of the multilayer body. The multilayer body includes a first magnetic layer, an insulating layer laminated on the first magnetic layer, and a second magnetic layer laminated on the insulating layer. The coil has, at both ends thereof, lead-out portions, each of which extends up to the surface of the multilayer body and is connected to a respective one of the outer electrodes. The outer electrodes are each present over surfaces of the first magnetic layer, the insulating layer, and the second magnetic layer, and a width of a portion of at least one of the outer electrodes contacting the insulating layer is larger than widths of each of portions of that outer electrode contacting the first and second magnetic layers.

An electronic component includes a multilayer body obtained by laminating a plurality of insulator layers the shape of which is substantially rectangular in plan view, a coil conductor in a substantially spiral shape provided on an insulator layer, and a land electrode located outside the coil conductor. The land electrode faces two sides intersecting at a vertex of the substantially rectangular shape when viewed along a direction of laminating the insulator layers, and is electrically connected to an end portion of the coil conductor, in which a shortest distance from one side of the two sides to the land electrode is equal to or longer than a shortest distance from the coil conductor to the one side.

A coil component includes a first magnetic body, an insulator stacked on the first magnetic body, a second magnetic body stacked on the insulator, a coil which is disposed in the insulator and which includes at least one coil conductor layer, and an internal magnetic body disposed within the inner circumference of the coil and connected to the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body. In a cross section in a stacking direction, the width of the internal magnetic body increases continuously from the first magnetic body side toward the second magnetic body side. Also, the inner circumferential surface of an end coil conductor layer located closest to the second magnetic body faces the outer circumferential surface of the internal magnetic body and is inclined in the same direction as the outer circumferential surface of the internal magnetic body with respect to the stacking direction.

An electronic component includes a body containing glass, external conductors including a first external electrode and a second external electrode each disposed on an external surface of the body, a spiral conductor within the body, and extended conductors including a first extended conductor and a second extended conductor each disposed within the body. One end portion of the spiral conductor is electrically connected to the first external electrode with the first extended conductor therebetween and another end portion is electrically connected to the second external electrode with the second extended conductor therebetween. The spiral conductor contains Ag and at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of AlO, SiO, ZnO, TiO, and ZrO, and the extended conductor contains Ag, but none of AlO, SiO, ZnO, TiO, and ZrO.

This disclosure provides a laminated inductor capable of suppressing concentration of magnetic gap portions, preventing local magnetic saturation, and obtaining excellent DC superposition characteristics. In an embodiment of a laminated inductor, magnetic layers and coil conductors are alternately laminated. The laminated inductor includes plural first mixed layers and plural second mixed layers. Each first mixed layer includes a first nonmagnetic material portion between ones of the conductive patterns overlapping in a lamination direction and a second nonmagnetic material portion that is inside the coil conductor and connected to the first nonmagnetic material portion. Each second mixed layer includes a nonmagnetic material portion between ones of the conductive patterns overlapping in the lamination direction and a nonmagnetic material portion that is outside the coil conductor and is connected to the first nonmagnetic material portion. The plural first mixed layers and the plural second mixed layers are formed as different layers.
