This disclosure relates to a connection device that can provide a new function for an electronic device. A film antenna receives a wireless signal transmitted by radio, a relay unit relays the received wireless signal to a television receiver, an LED indicator emits light based on a control signal transmitted from the television receiver, a storage case stores the film antenna, the relay unit and a light emitting unit, and a connection member connects the storage case to the television receiver. In addition, in a state of being connected to the television receiver, in a normal direction to a housing surface having a display unit on a housing of the television receiver, the storage case has a protruding section which further protrudes from the housing surface and stores the film antenna in the protruding section. For example, this disclosure can be applied to a receiving device having a receiving unit which receives the wireless signal.

The present disclosure relates to a light emitting device that can improve design of emitted light. A communication substrate is provided with an LED indicator which emits light. A light guiding plate has a concave surface portion which is a concave surface to cover the LED indicator, and receives the light from the LED indicator using the concave surface portion. A storage case stores the communication substrate and the light guiding plate in a state where a part of the light guiding plate is exposed. The light guiding plate allows the light from the LED indicator to penetrate to a part of the light guiding plate exposed from the storage case by diffusing the light received using the concave surface portion. For example, the present disclosure is applicable to the light emitting device that emits light using an LED or the like.

It is an object to provide a switchgear capable of alleviating burden to a manager. In order to solve the aforementioned problem, the switchgear according to the present invention includes a plurality of compatible switch units each provided in a housing and closing/interrupting/ground functions so that the plurality of switch units are connected to supply power to the load side.

A fire alarming system includes a plurality of terminal devices including fire sensors, transmitters, manual boxes, and/or other devices to be controlled; and a receiving device to which the plurality of terminal devices are connected. A great number of terminal devices with a manual box are connected to the receiving device. When a plurality of manual boxes are activated at the same time, the terminal devices corresponding to the activated manual boxes can be called at the same time without encountering a collision among returning-back signals transmitted from these terminal devices. That is, when a plurality of manual boxes are activated at the same time, the signal of only one of the plurality of activated manual boxes can arrive at the receiving device.

Fire alarming system

A fire alarming system includes a plurality of terminal devices including fire sensors, transmitters, manual boxs, and/or other devices to be controlled; and a receiving device to which the plurality of terminal devices are connected. A great number of terminal devices with a manual box are connected to the receiving device. When a plurality of manual boxs are activated at the same time, the terminal devices corresponding to the activated manual boxs can be called at the same time without encountering a collision among returning-back signals transmitted from these terminal devices. That is, when a plurality of manual boxs are activated at the same time, the signal of only one of the plurality of activated manual boxs can arrive at the receiving device.

An object of the present invention is to provide a fire alarm system which is adaptable to form a large-size fire alarm system and is capable of causing a receiving portion to quickly detect fire information from a terminal unit, or the like, if the terminal unit has been operated. In a fire alarm system in which terminal units, such as fire detectors, are connected to the receiving portion, an address is given to the terminal unit to allow detection of terminal units that have a status change, wherein system polling or the like for a specific terminal unit, such as a transmitter, among the terminal units is performed prior to performing system polling of other terminal units.

When updating the data of an EEPROM, wherein set data such as interlock data showing the interlock relationship between fire detectors and controlled equipment, data on correspondence between terminal addresses and places where the terminals are installed, display data to be shown on a display unit of the fire protection receiver, and receiver function data showing the functions of the fire protection receiver is stored, a fire protection receiver according to the present invention employs a memory pack comprised of an IC card or the like, which is disconnectably attached to the fire protection receiver, connects a memory pack, which stores data for updating set data, into the receiver, reads it, and writes it to the EEPROM. Alternatively, set data before updating stored in the EEPROM may be read into the memory pack, which is carried to a service center or the like, where set data for updating is created, referring to the set data before updating, and the created set data for updating may be written into the EEPROM via the memory pack in a similar manner. This makes it possible to provide a fire protection receiver and a fire protection receiver system, which enable a person, who does not know about a ROM, i.e., an electronic circuit, to update set data securely and which permits easy updating.

A portable fire alarm system setting device allows easy confirmation of information such as address information set in a storage element which cannot be seen visually from the outside of a terminal device, for example, a fire detector, and also allows the set information to be changed when necessary. The setting device for the fire alarm system comprises bases 33 and 34 for transmitting power and information signals regarding, for example, an address to the fire detector, the bases having removably connected thereto fire detectors 20 and 21 for the fire alarm system; a microcomputer 5 having a confirmation mode and a setting mode for controlling the sending and receiving of, for example, address information signals to and from the fire detector through transmission circuits 10 and 11; an indicator section 8 connected to the microcomputer 5 for indicating the fire detector address; and an operation section 7 used to send out an address as operation information to the fire detector.

Setting device for fire alarm system

A fire alarm system having terminal units in a supervisory system for supervising a fire phenomenon, a receiving portion and terminal units in a control system to be controlled by the receiving portion that is able to reduce a required space in a case of a small size system. The terminal units in the supervisory system are given individual addresses, the terminal units in the supervisory system and the receiving portion communicate with each other through the addresses, and the terminal units in the control system are connected to the receiving portion through individual signal lines.

A fire receiver including: an operation selection switch for selecting a desired operation from a plurality of operations that can be executed; an address selection switch for selecting a desired address from different addresses respectively given to a plurality of fire detectors and lines; an address changing device for continuously changing the address to be selected in accordance with the operation of the address selection switch; an address display device for displaying the address to be instructed which has been changed by the address changing device; and a command device for commanding a fire detector or a line corresponding to the address displayed by the address display device to perform the operation selected by the operation selection switch.
