According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a first detection circuit including a first photodiode sensitive to first light and a second photodiode sensitive to second light; and a second detection circuit including a third photodiode sensitive to third light. The first photodiode and the second photodiode are coupled in series and in opposite directions to form a first detection element. One end side of the first detection element is coupled to a first signal line via a first transistor. Another end side of the first detection element is configured to be supplied with a first drive signal. A cathode of the third photodiode is coupled to a second signal line via a second transistor. An anode of the third photodiode is configured to be supplied with a second drive signal.

To provide an endoscope cap includes: a cover having a cylindrical shape with a bottom; a pedestal; and an elevator rotatably supported by the pedestal. The pedestal includes: a base; a support wall, rising from an edge of the base, and extending in an axial direction of the cover to support the elevator; a distal tip wall extending from a distal tip of the support wall in the same direction as the base; a bottom fixing protrusion protruding from the distal tip wall in a direction opposite to the support wall; and a lateral face fixing protrusion protruding from the base in a direction opposite to the support wall. According to an aspect, a display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels including light-emitting elements, a video signal driver that applies a video voltage or an initialization voltage to the pixels based on a video signal, a scan signal driver that applies a scan voltage to the pixels based on the video signal, and a controller that controls an initialization period in which the initialization voltage is applied to the pixels and a video voltage writing period in which the video voltage is applied to the pixels, in accordance with the tone of the video signal.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display pixel allocated at a matrix state in a display area, an image-reading device which detects strength of capacitive coupling by a dielectric material coming close to or making contact with the display area, and a control portion which controls each transistor of the image-reading device. The image-reading device includes a detection electrode which forms capacitance between the detection electrode and the dielectric material, a pre-charge gate line, a coupling pulse line, a readout gate line, a pre-charge line and a readout line. These lines supply a signal which drives the image-reading device. The image-reading device further includes a pre-charge transistor, an amplification transistor, a readout transistor, a compensation transistor, and a power-source switching transistor.

Disclosed are an image capture apparatus in which an arrangement relationship between an image sensor and a microlens array that is arranged in front of the image sensor can be varied, and a method for controlling the same. In a state in which a photographic lens including the microlens array is attached, information on the photographic lens and information on the image sensor are used to control a distance between the microlens array and the image sensor, and an aperture value. The microlens array or the image sensor is shifted so that they are arranged at this distance, and the aperture value is set.

In one embodiment, a display device having a touch function includes an insulating substrate and a plurality of pixels formed on the insulating substrate and arranged in a matrix of rows and columns. The pixels form a plurality of pixel blocks formed of a plurality of rows and columns of the pixels. A sensor circuit is arranged in a space between adjacent pixels on the insulating substrate and includes a coupling electrode, a detection electrode arranged adjacent to the coupling electrode for forming a coupling capacitance therebetween, and a reading-out circuit to read out a potential of the detection electrode. At least one sensor circuit is arranged in each pixel block. The contact or non-contact by a fingertip or a nib is detected by a potential difference of the detection electrode.
