Provided is a blind spot assist device capable of more easily showing the image of a blind-spot zone continuously with the image directly viewed by a viewer. The blind spot assist device shows the image of the blind-spot zone blocked by an obstacle, and is provided with a pair of parallel plane mirrors to which light representing the image is incident, the pair of parallel plane mirrors comprising a semitransparent plane mirror and a plane mirror opposed to each other. The semitransparent plane mirror is provided on the viewer side for reflecting part of the light and transmitting part of the light. The plane mirror reflects the light to the semitransparent plane mirror. The pair of plane parallel mirrors is provided in such a manner that the width in a direction perpendicular to the travel direction of the light decreases gradually toward the travel direction of the light.

Blind spot assist device

A head-up display apparatus includes an infrared ray emitting unit for emitting an infrared ray toward a user, a mirror member for reflecting visible light emitted from a display toward a combiner member, and transmitting the infrared ray reflected by the user and the combiner member, a plurality of imaging units disposed to face the mirror member for sensing the infrared ray, each imaging the user from differing directions, and an image processing unit for calculating the eye position of the user based on an image captured by the imaging units.

Head-up display apparatus

A display device (display unit) for vehicles has a display element emitting display light. It has a reflecting member (reflecting mirror) for reflecting the display light. It has a drive means for angularly moving the reflecting member at a first speed at ordinary times or at a second speed greater than the first speed. When an ignition switch is turned off, the drive means angularly moves the reflecting member to an angular position where the sunlight is not reflected by the display element and when the ignition switch is turned on, it angularly moves the reflecting member to an original position where the display light is visible at the second speed.

Display device for vehicles

Disclosed is a display device at a low cost which enhances the color purity of light to be projected, and which resists deterioration due to ambient light such as infrared ray. This display device includes an LED, an optical member for selectively outputting light components, of which wavelength is a predetermined minimum-limit wavelength or longer, from incident light, and a mirror for selectively reflecting light components, of which wavelength is a predetermined maximum-limit wavelength or shorter, from irradiated light. One of the optical member or the mirror receives light directly from the LED, and outputs it to the other. Subsequently, the other receives the light from one of the optical member and the mirror, and outputs it.

A vehicular display device, in which positional adjustment of a display image is easy, is provided, and the vehicular display device (head-up display)comprises a displayto emit a display light forming a predetermined display image, a reflecting member to reflect the display light to a driver to have the driver recognizing the display image, moving means (motor)for varying a direction of irradiation of the display light irradiated on the reflecting member to move a display position of the display image, operation means (control unit)to allow driving of the moving meansand control meansfor displaying a mark indicative of a display range of the display image when the operation meansis operated.

Vehicle display device

A first indicator has a display board, a pointer to point the display board, a light source to subject the display board to transmitted illumination, and pointer driving means to drive the pointer. A housing stores the first indicator, a second indicator formed of a first light emitting type indicator, and a third indicator formed of a second light emitting type indicator. The viewer sees the second indicator reflected upon a semi-transmitting reflection board, the third indicator through the semi-transmitting refection board, and the first indicator not through the semi-transmitting reflection board.
