A premixing device includes: a gas flow passage forming member in which an x direction is used as an axial length direction, and a Venturi-shaped gas flow passage into which air can flow in from the outside is formed inside; and a blade portion positioned in the gas flow passage, extending in a y direction, and equipped with a fuel gas outlet. The blade portion includes first and second blade portions spaced apart from each other in a z direction, and an air flow path near the center through which a part of the air flows is formed between these first and second blade portions. At least one of a pair of surfaces of the first and second blade portions facing each other is equipped with an inner bulging portion that bulges in the z direction so as to squeeze a part of the air flow path near the center.

A premixing flow path forming member of a premixing device includes a member whose attachment mode can be changed, and flow path resistance of a fuel gas flow path can be changed when the attachment mode of the member is changed.

Premixing device and combustion apparatus including the same

A water heating device equipped with a housing, a fan and a chamber arranged in the interior of the housing, and screws. The housing has first and second side plates which oppose one another in a first direction and extend from the ends of a back plate along a second direction intersecting the first direction. An opening part is provided in the housing on the side opposite the back plate in the second direction. The fan has a discharge opening, a first flow passage extending along the first direction, and a first flange. The chamber has an intake opening, a second flow passage extending along the first direction, and a second flange. The first and the second flanges are secured by screws. In a planar view, the center axis of the screws is slanted such that a head portion is closer to the opening part than the tip-end portion.

Water heating device

[Problem] To provide a water heating apparatus which has a inverse combustion type burner installed within a case for a heat exchanger so as to cause heat to be transferred from an outer peripheral flange of the burner to the heat exchanger case. [Solution] This water heating apparatus is provided with: a fan for supplying combustion air; a chamber case which is connected to the fan and which has set therein a chamber where an air-fuel mixture is formed; a inverse combustion type burner for combusting the air-fuel mixture supplied from the chamber; a heat exchanger in which combustion gas generated by the burner is introduced into a case where water is heated; and sealing member which is installed between a peripheral flange of the chamber case and a peripheral flange of the case, wherein the burner is set inside the case, and an outer peripheral flange of the burner is anchored to an inner wall surface of the case.

Water heating apparatus

A combustion apparatus ( ) is generally composed of a principal part ( ), a supplementary part ( ) and a burner port assembly ( ). A thickness control device and method for maintaining the thickness of the rolled material which is passed between the rollers of a rolling mill, in which the rollers above and below the rolling material are rotated at different speeds V.sub.H and V.sub.L. A variation in rolling material thickness is detected and expressed in terms of a change in rolling load WF. ##EQU1## is also detected. The change in rolling load .DELTA.F and the differential peripheral speed rate X are used to derive the change in differential speed rate .DELTA.X which would cancel out the variation in rolling material thickness. This correcting differential peripheral speed rate .DELTA.X is then utilized to change the velocities V.sub.H and V.sub.L of the upper and lower rollers, respectively, such that the thickness variation is eliminated without changing the speed of the rolled material.

Apparatus for controlling re-distribution of load on continuous rolling

In a tandem rolling mill a control computer integrates the entry speed of a work strip having a gauge transition to determine the arrival of the transition at a first roll stand. At that time a screw-down on that stand is updated through a scheduling computer while roll speeds on all the stands remain unchanged. When the gauge transition arrives at each of the succeeding stands as determined by the control computer integrating a roll speed on the preceding stand, the scheduling computer updates a screw-down on the arrival stand and changes roll speeds so as to minimize the sum of the squares of changes in roll speed with the constant mass flow relationship fulfilled.
