A vehicle seat including a pipe frame formed in the shape of a hollow rectangle constituting a part of a sitting portion, a pair of side frames respectively attached to a left side and a right side of the pipe frame to connect the pipe frame to a structural member of a vehicle, a cross bracket attached to rear regions of the pair of side frames to connect between the pair of side frames in a lateral direction, and a bottom cover disposed to cover the underside of the pipe frame, in which a rear portion of the bottom cover is attached to the cross bracket, and a front portion of the bottom cover is attached to the pipe frame.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion including a cover, a frame and a pad, a plurality of parts of the cover being restrained to the frame and the pad; a cushion airbag device mounted in a front portion in the seat cushion and configured to inflate and deploy an airbag at a time of a frontal collision of a vehicle; and a restraint release part provided in a part of the cover positioned at at least one side in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the cushion airbag device among the plurality of parts of the cover. The restraint release part is configured to release the restraint of the part of the cover with an inflation pressure of the airbag.

A conveyance seat includes: a pair of lower rails; a pair of upper rails, each of which is slidably assembled to the corresponding lower rail; an electric drive mechanism; a pair of brackets, each of which is assembled to an upper surface of the corresponding upper rail; and a pair of buffer members, each of which is arranged between the upper surface of the upper rail and the bracket. The electric drive mechanism includes a drive source fastened to one of the brackets; a shaft; a pair of screws assembled one to each rail of the lower rails or the upper rails; a pair of nuts; and a pair of gear subassemblies. The electric drive mechanism electrically slides each upper rail with respect the corresponding lower rail by the screw moving relative to the nut or by the nut moving relative to the screw, by rotation of the shaft when the drive source is driven.

A recliner that connects a seatback to a base in a manner in which a backrest angle is adjustable includes one disk-shaped connecting member and another disk-shaped connecting member, a locking mechanism that locks the relative rotation of the two connecting members, and an outer peripheral ring. The one connecting member has a smaller outer diameter than the other connecting member does. The outer peripheral ring has a joining portion joined to the outer peripheral portion of the other connecting member, an abutting portion bent radially inward so as to abut against the outer peripheral portion of the one connecting member from an outside in the axial direction, and a connecting portion that connects the joining portion to the abutting portion. The connecting portion has a shape in which at least a portion in a circumferential direction thereof extends inclined radially inward from the joining portion toward the abutting portion.
