An oil supply apparatus includes: an oil pump; a main oil supply path; a sub oil supply path connected to the main oil supply path; a first oil supply section which is connected to the main oil supply path and which supplies oil to a crank bearing section of a specific crank journal; a second oil supply section which is connected to the sub oil supply path and which supplies oil to a crank bearing section of a crank journal other than the specific crank journal; and a control apparatus which sets, as a target oil pressure, a highest required oil pressure among required oil pressures required from a plurality of hydraulic operating sections in accordance with an operation state of the engine, and which controls the discharge amount of the oil pump so that an oil pressure detected by an oil pressure sensor equals the target oil pressure.

Engine oil supply apparatus

An accessory support structure for a vehicle engine includes a pair of accessory-side supports provided on the engine accessory, and a pair of engine-side supports provided on the engine body. The engine-side supports each have a shaft hole into which a bolt is inserted, a slot closer to the engine body than the shaft hole is, and extending substantially horizontally, and an intermediate portion interposed between the shaft hole and the slot to restrict movement of the bolt. The engine-side supports each remove a restriction imposed by the intermediate portion and guide the bolt from the shaft hole to the slot if an external force acting on the alternator toward the engine body exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Accessory support structure for vehicle engine

An engine oil supply apparatus includes: a cylinder block; a shaft supporting member which bears a crank journal of a crank shaft in cooperation with a journal supporting wall section; and a nozzle which injects oil to a piston. The cylinder block includes a first oil supply path which extends in a cylinder bank direction at a position of one side section of the cylinder in a width direction that is perpendicular to the cylinder bank direction, a branch oil path which branches from the first oil supply path at a position of the journal supporting wall section and which supplies oil to a crank bearing section by which the crank journal is borne, and a second oil supply path which extends in the cylinder bank direction at a position further outward than the first oil supply path in the width direction and which supplies oil to the nozzle.
