A battery capable of leading a user to grip a grip part such that the posture of the battery becomes a prescribed posture when the user lifts up the battery. The battery has an approximately rectangular parallelepiped outer shape, and is provided with a third surface, a fourth surface, a fifth surface, and a sixth surface that are approximately orthogonal to a first surface and a second surface respectively at both ends in a longitudinal direction. A handle has a first portion provided near the third surface side to extend from the fifth surface side to the sixth surface side, and a second portion provided to extend from the third surface side toe the fourth surface side.

A battery pack includes a first core pack and a second core pack each holding a plurality of unit cells. The unit cells of a first cell group or second cell group that is closest to a connector are electrically connected to the connector through a third busbar. The unit cells of the first cell group or second cell group that is most distant from the connector are electrically connected to the connector through a fourth busbar.

A battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The battery module includes: a battery cell group, in which a plurality of battery cells is laminated; a pair of end plates, which is arranged on two end portions of the battery cell group; and restraint members, which are disposed over the pair of end plates and restrain the battery cell group between the pair of end plates. The restraint members are coupled by grappling structures to the pair of end plates on two end portions along the lamination direction the battery cells, and the pair of end plates clamps the battery cell group in a state that the battery cell group is compressed and pulling forces toward opposite directions act on the two end portions of the restraint members by a restoration force when the battery cell group restores from the compression state.

Battery module and manufacturing method of battery module

A battery pack includes a first core pack and a second core pack each holding a plurality of unit cells. The unit cells of one of first cell groups (or second cell groups) in each of the first core pack and the second core pack are electrically connected to a connector through a positive-side connection busbar and a negative-side connection busbar, respectively. Vertically adjacent cell groups are electrically connected to each other through cell group interconnection busbars. Insulator is interposed between the mutually facing cell group interconnection busbars that present a largest potential difference.

A secondary battery includes a resin film, reference electrodes, temperature sensors, reference electrode wiring lines and temperature sensor wiring lines that are insulating from one another, and an insulating resin cover layer. In the resin film, a connector part connecting a detector part and a terminal part extends from the inside to the outside of the container through a seal member. Each of the reference electrode wiring lines and the temperature sensor wiring lines extend through the connector part to the terminal part. A resin cover layer is provided for the detector part and the connector part, covers the temperature sensors, the reference electrode wiring lines, and the temperature sensor wiring lines, and exposes the reference electrodes.
