A connector that is to be connected to another connector and includes a connection terminal, a fixed contact, a movable contact provided at an end of a movable plate, a card comprised of an insulator and configured to move the movable plate, and a button configured to move the card. The connector is configured such that while another connection terminal of the another connector is in contact with the connection terminal of the connector, the button is moved by the another connector, and the movable plate is moved by the card to cause the movable contact to contact the fixed contact.

Connector

A connector includes a fixed contact, a movable contact that contacts with the fixed contact, a slide, a contact slide operated in association with a movement of the slide, a button that is pushed in accordance with the movement of the slide, the button including a lower portion, an upper portion, and a slant portion connecting the lower portion to an upper stage, and a card that moves the movable contact toward and away from the fixed contact in accordance with the movement of the button, wherein the contact slide contacts with the lower portion when the switch is in a turn-off state, contacts with the slant portion so as to push the button and cause the card to move the movable contact toward the fixed contact when the slide slides in one direction, and contacts with the upper portion when the switch is in a turn-on state.

Connector and switch

A connector includes a switch, a button configured to move a card of the switch, a spring connected to the button, and a connection terminal connected to the switch. When another connector is inserted into the connector, the connection terminal contacts a connection terminal of the other connector, and when the other connector is further inserted, the button is pressed by the other connector to move the card to close the switch to allow electric power to be supplied from the connector to the other connector, and the spring has its locking part engaging with an engaging part of the housing of the connector. When the other connector is pulled off of the connector, the spring has its locking part disengaging from the engaging part to open the switch, with the connection terminals contacting each other, to interrupt the supply of electric power.

A connector includes a fixed contact, a movable contact provided on one end of a movable plate, a connection terminal to be connected to another connection terminal of another connector, the connection terminal being connected to the fixed contact or the movable contact, a card provided in contact with the movable plate, a button provided in contact with the card, and a slide provided in contact with the button. With the connection terminal being in contact with the other connection terminal, the slide is contacted and pressed by a part of the other connector to slide to move the button, and the movable plate is moved by the movement of the button via the card so that the movable contact moves into contact with the fixed contact.

A switch includes a fixed contact part including a fixed contact, a movable contact part including a movable contact, a control button, an operation part including a first end and a second end, and a lock. When the first end is pressed, the control button is pressed by the operation part, the movable contact touches the fixed contact, and the switch becomes an ON state. While the movable contact and the fixed contact are in contact with each other, a first protrusion of the lock touches an engaging part of the control button to limit movement of the control button and maintain the ON state. When the second end is pressed, the operation part touches a second protrusion of the lock and moves the lock in such a direction that the first protrusion moves away from the engaging part, and the switch becomes the OFF state.

Switch

A connector includes a connecting terminal, a fixed contact, a movable plate, a movable contact provided at an end of the movable plate, a card that includes an insulator and contacts the movable plate, a button that contacts the card, an opening spring connected to the button, and a sliding operation part that controls a contact between the fixed contact and the movable contact. When the sliding operation part is moved in a first direction, the movable contact is brought into contact with the fixed contact and the connector is turned on. When the sliding operation part is moved in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the movable contact is caused to move away from the fixed contact and the connector is turned off. The sliding operation part is provided on a surface that is different from a surface on which the connecting terminal is provided.

A connector includes a terminal to be connected to a terminal of another connector, a fixed contact, a movable contact provided on one end of a movable plate, a card being in contact with the movable plate, a slide portion, a button that contacts with the card and is pushed down according to a movement of the slide portion, and a spring connected to the button and generates force in a direction of separating a contact between the fixed contact and the movable contact. One of the fixed contact and the movable contact is connected to the terminal. The button is pushed down and the card moves to move the movable plate to cause the movable contact to contact with the fixed contact when the slide portion moves in one direction, and the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact when the slide portion moves in another direction.

A connector includes a connecting terminal to be connected to another connecting terminal of another connector, a fixed contact, a movable contact provided at one end of a movable plate, a movable spring connected to the movable plate, and an operation part that moves according to an operation performed by an operator. The connecting terminal is connected to one of the fixed contact and the movable contact. The operation part applies a force to a part of the movable spring in a direction that is substantially parallel to a direction of a force applied to operate the operation part, and causes the movable contact to contact the fixed contact. The direction of the force applied to operate the operation part is substantially parallel to a direction in which the movable contact moves.

A connector unit includes a first connector configured to be connected to an electrical apparatus, the first connector including multiple power receiving terminals for receiving a supply of electric power; and a second connector configured to be connected to a direct-current power supply and mated with the first connector. The second connector includes multiple power feeding terminals corresponding to the power receiving terminals of the first connector and a switch member configured to be moved between a connecting position for electrically connecting the power feeding terminals and the direct-current power supply and a breaking position for breaking the connection of the power feeding terminals and the direct-current power supply.
