A stable percutaneous absorption-type pharmaceutical preparation for percutaneous administration of drugs except for selegiline and selegiline hydrochloride, which does not suffer a decrease in the cohesive force of the adhesive layer therein even in the presence of sweat components due to perspiration during wear and which is free from cohesive failure and resultant adhesive remaining when stripped off. A percutaneous absorption-type pharmaceutical preparation which comprises: a support; and an adhesive layer containing an adhesive, a metal chloride and a percutaneously-absorptive drug except for selegiline and selegiline hydrochloride, wherein the adhesive layer is subjected to a crosslinking treatment.

Percutaneous absorption-type pharmaceutical preparation

The present invention aims at providing an adhesive preparation wherein a drug is sufficiently dissolved in an adhesive layer and is not easily separated from the adhesive layer even during preservation of the adhesive preparation. The present invention provides an adhesive preparation having an adhesive layer on at least one surface of a support, wherein the adhesive layer comprises a first synthetic rubber having a viscosity average molecular weight of 1,600,000-6,500,000, a drug, an organic liquid component and a tackifier. The present invention further provides the aforementioned adhesive preparation, wherein the organic liquid component is contained in the adhesive layer in a proportion of 20 wt % or above relative to the total weight of the adhesive layer.

Drug containing adhesive preparation

A medical non-crosslinked pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which not only has relatively high resistance to water during perspiration or the like and shows a sufficient skin adhesive force, but also can contain a large amount of a liquid plasticizer and hence have reduced skin-irritating properties. These compositions comprise an adhesive polymer A having a weight-average molecular weight of 500,000-1,000,000, an adhesive polymer B having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000,000-1,500,000, and a liquid plasticizer, wherein the adhesive polymer A is a polymer obtained by copolymerizing one or more alkyl (meth)acrylates with N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone and the adhesive polymer B is either a polymer obtained by the polymerization of one or more alkyl (meth)acrylates or a polymer obtained by copolymerizing one or more alkyl (meth)acrylates with one or more comonomers other than N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. Also provided are a medical adhesive sheet and a process for producing the medical non-crosslinked pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.

The present invention provides an adhesive capable of affording an adhesive layer showing reduced stickiness, reduced cohesive failure and the like. An adhesive containing a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing monomers containing a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester as a main component, and a vinyl monomer having a hydroxyl group and/or a carboxyl group and which has an average molecular radius of not less than 70 nm as measured by a multi angle laser light scattering method.

Adhesive and laminate

The present invention provides a medical adhesive tape and a tape preparation for percutaneous absorption, both having an adhesive layer that resists glue remainder and stickiness upon peeling off of the tape even after adhesion to the human skin for a long time, and a medical adhesive composition to be used for such tapes. The medical adhesive composition of the present invention includes, as essential elements, (A) a copolymer containing (a) alkyl (meth)acrylate, wherein the alkyl moiety has 4 to 18 carbon atoms, in a proportion of not less than 50 wt % of the copolymer and (b) a carboxyl group-containing vinyl compound in a proportion of 0.1 wt %&#x2013;10 wt % of the copolymer, (B) an alkoxide or a chelate compound of at least a metal selected from titanium, zirconium, zinc and aluminum, and (C) a polyol compound in a proportion of 0.2 wt %&#x2013;5 wt % of the aforementioned medical adhesive composition. The medical adhesive tape of the present invention and tape preparation for percutaneous absorption are characterized in that the adhesive layer contains the above-mentioned medical adhesive composition of the present invention.

A medical adhesive sheet comprising a support and an adhesive layer formed on one side of said support, wherein the adhesive layer comprises an adhesive polymer having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 2,000,000, preferably not less than 2,500,000, and at least one plasticizer compatible with said polymer. The medical adhesive sheet of the present invention simultaneously satisfies the adhesive property to the skin and low irritation property, since it can retain the plasticizer in the adhesive layer, even without a crosslinking treatment. The effects of the present invention can be exerted irrespective of the kind of functional group that the plasticizer and drug have.

The present invention provides a percutaneous absorption preparation which hardly causes the coloration phenomenon and is excellent in the stability of the drug content. The percutaneous absorption preparation comprises a support and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on at least one side of the support, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains a percutaneous absorptive drug and at least one of 2-mercaptobenzimidazole and propyl gallate, with the proviso that the percutaneous absorptive drug is not 6-amino-5-chloro-1-isopropyl-2-(4-methyl-1-piperazinyl)benzimidazole and pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.
