Waste gas/wastewater treatment equipment treats waste gas in a scrubberby using micronanobubble water produced in a micronanobubble reaction vesselas washing water. Waste gas is efficiently cleaned by the substance surface high-velocity cleaning function which micronanobubbles have. The washing water having been used in the waste gas treatment is reused in wastewater treatment in adjustment tank, denitrification tankand nitrification tankwhich constitute a wastewater treatment section. Thus, the micronanobubbles contained in the washing water are utilized in wastewater treatment, so that efficiency of wastewater treatment is enhanced.

Waste gas/wastewater treatment equipment and method of treating waste gas/wastewater

In a micronanobubble reaction vesselof wastewater treatment equipment, wastewater containing organic matter is treated with micronanobubbles. Thereafter, the wastewater is introduced into an aeration tank. Part of organic matter in the wastewater is oxidized in the micronanobubble reaction vesselby micronanobubble treatment prior to treatment with activity of microorganisms enhanced in the aeration tank. After organic matter load is thus reduced, the treatment water is introduced into the aeration tank, in which microorganisms exist in high concentration due to submerged membranes, so that the organic matter in wastewater can be effectively treated. This makes it possible to accomplish miniaturization of the aeration tank, reduction in scale of the whole equipment and therefore reduction in initial cost. Also, a photocatalyst tankis provided downstream of the aeration tank, so that a minute amount of organic matter unaffected by the microbial treatment alone can be oxidized at high-level by using a photocatalyst plate

A water treatment apparatus has a turbidity meter, which is a detection part, for detecting a generation state of bubbles in a micro/nano bubble generation state confirmation tank, as a turbidity of treatment water. The water treatment apparatus also has a controller, which is a control part, for receiving an signal representing the turbidity of treatment water detected by the turbidity meter, to control openings of air flow control valves in an interlocked manner in response to the signal, so that the amount of air flowing through the control valves is automatically controlled. The openings of the air flow control valves are controlled in an interlocked manner by the controller in such a way that the signal representing turbidity shows that the treatment water within the confirmation tank is whitely turbid (i.e., the turbidity shows not less than a specified value).

Thus, the micronanobubbles make it possible to efficiently pretreat the wastewater introduced into the micronanobubble reaction vessel. Consequently, it becomes possible not only to enhance efficiency of wastewater treatment but also to reduce a treatment load on wastewater treatment equipmentin a step subsequent to the pretreatment. Thereby, scale of the wastewater treatment equipmentis reduced.

A wastewater treatment device treats nitrogen wastewater containing hydrogen peroxide by using micro/nano bubbles generated in a micro/nano bubble reaction tank. Thereby, activity of microbes is increased in next denitrification tank and nitrification tank, so that microbial treatment efficiency can be increased and the denitrification tank and the nitrification tank can be downsized. Thus, the wastewater treatment device makes it possible to enhance treatment efficiency of nitrogen wastewater containing hydrogen peroxide and to reduce initial and running costs for wastewater treatment.
