A charged particle beam irradiation apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a first scanning electromagnet device configured to deflect a charged particle beam to a second direction that is substantially perpendicular to a first direction along which the charged particle beam enters, the first scanning electromagnet device having an aperture on an outlet side larger than that on an inlet side; and a second scanning electromagnet device configured to deflect the charged particle beam to a third direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, the second scanning electromagnet device having an aperture on an outlet side larger than that on an inlet side, the first scanning electromagnet device and the second scanning electromagnet device being disposed to be parallel with the first direction.

According to an embodiment, a superconducting coil production device for producing a non-coplanar three-dimensional superconducting coil by winding a tape-like superconducting wire includes: a coil bobbin; a supply reel to supply the superconducting wire to the coil bobbin; and an adjustment driving unit to adjust a position of the supply reel relative to a wrapping point so that a position of the wrapping point of the coil bobbin around which the superconducting wire being supplied from the supply reel is wrapped becomes equal to a position of the supply reel in a rotational axis direction of the supply reel.

Superconducting coil production apparatus and superconducting coil production method

According to an embodiment, a superconductive coil device includes a non-coplanar three-dimensional superconductive saddle type coil including a wound superconductive wire. The superconductive saddle type coil includes: longitudinal portions extending along a longitudinal direction of a magnetic field generation area; crossing portions extending along an edge line of a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the magnetic field generation area; and bent portions connecting the longitudinal portions and the crossing portions. The crossing portions are linear in shape when seen in the longitudinal direction.

A connection structure of a multi-layer wire includes at least a substrate, a high-temperature superconducting layer, a tape-type laminated body, a conductor layer, and a passage forming body. The high-temperature superconducting layer is formed on one surface of the substrate. The tape-type laminated body including at least the substrate and the high-temperature superconducting layer. The conductor layer covering an outer periphery of the tape-type laminated body. The passage forming body serving as a flowing path of a superconducting current generated in the high-temperature superconducting wire piece. The passage forming body is bonded by a bonding material is arranged on a side surface of the conductor layer, the side surface being located on an opposite side to the high-temperature superconducting layer with respect to the substrate.

According to one embodiment, winding apparatus includes a bobbin, a core, a pressing section, a moving unit, a first rotating unit, a second rotating unit and a control unit. The moving unit is configured to move the pressing section relatively to the core along each of first to third axes perpendicular to each other. The first rotating unit is configured to rotate the pressing section relatively to the core around fourth and fifth axes perpendicular to each other, and set on the core. The second rotating unit is configured to rotate the pressing section relatively to the core around a sixth axis which becomes parallel to, when the core is in an initial position at which the fourth and fifth axes become parallel to any two of the first to third axes, a remaining one of the first to third axes.

Winding apparatus and winding method

According to one embodiment, there is provided a superconducting magnetic apparatus that conductively cools a superconducting coil contained in a vacuum container with a cryogenic refrigerator. The superconducting magnetic apparatus includes a thermal conductor thermally connecting a cooling stage of the cryogenic refrigerator to the superconducting coil, a radiation blocking layer provided around the superconducting coil, and a coil supporting body supporting the superconducting coil by partial or entire contact with a surface of the superconducting coil.
