A vehicle front structure is provided for preventing a vortex from being generated between high-speed air separated from an outer edge of a deflector and low-speed air in a front wheel house due to a wind speed difference. Embodiments include a deflector disposed in front of a front wheel house projected downward from a lower surface of a bumper face. The deflector includes an air introducing section to introduce air into a space inside the deflector in a front portion of the deflector; and an intermediate-speed wind generating hole section that communicates with the air introducing section and generates an airflow at an intermediate wind speed, lower than a wind speed of air separated from deflector outer edges and higher than a wind speed of air in the front wheel house, in an area not opposing a tire in a vehicle front view of a portion immediately behind the deflector.

An opening portion is formed at a specified portion of a roof gusset which covers part of a panel joint portion from below. A pair of center-pillar side joint portions is provided at an outward end portion of the roof gusset, which is joined to a center pillar directly or via another panel member. A pair of first high-rigidity portions is provided at specified portions of the roof gusset which overlap the opening portion in a vehicle width direction and overlap the center-pillar joint portions in the vehicle longitudinal direction, respectively. A second high-rigidity portion is provided at an inward end portion of the roof gusset to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

A center pillar includes a first reinforcement panel which is arranged between an outer panel and an inner panel, comprises a bottom wall portion, both-side vertical wall portions extending in a vehicle width direction from the bottom wall portion, and both-side flange portions, and has a cross section formed in substantially a hat shape. A second reinforcement panel comprising a bottom wall portion and both-side vertical wall portions and having a cross section formed in substantially a U shape is arranged inside the first reinforcement panel. The second reinforcement panel is joined to the first reinforcement panel such that only the bottom wall portion and one of the both-side vertical wall portions are joined to the bottom wall portion and one of the both-side vertical wall portions, respectively.

A storage construction in which a spare tire of a motor vehicle is stored, comprising: a tire storage portion for storing the spare tire, which is disposed under a floor panel of the motor vehicle; a hoisting cable at one end of which a hanger engageable with a hub hole of the spare tire is provided; a hoist around which the other end of the hoisting cable is wound and which lifts the spare tire by winding the hoisting cable so as to store the spare tire in the tire storage portion and lowers the spare tire from the tire storage portion by unwinding the hoisting cable; an operating handle which is detachably inserted into an insertion portion of the hoist from a cabin of the motor vehicle such that winding and unwinding of the hoisting cable by the hoist are performed by operating the operating handle; a detachment preventing device which prevents detachment of the operating handle from the hoist before the spare tire is lifted to a hoisting completion position by the hoist; and a contact member which is secured to the hoisting cable and is brought into contact, when the spare tire has been lifted to the hoisting completion position by the hoist, with the detachment preventing device so as to set the detachment preventing device to an inoperative state such that the operating handle can be detached from the hoist.
