A TFT-PIN array substrate and an assembly structure for a flat-panel x-ray detector are provided to overcome the problem that the conventional scintillator substrate and TFT-PIN array substrate are neither penetrated by UV-light nor assembled by UV curable LOCA. The metal layer of the PIN photodiode of the TFT-PIN array substrate is perforated to have at least one hole, whereby UV-light can pass through the TFT-PIN array substrate to cure UV curable LOCA. Therefore, UV curable LOCA can be used as an adhesive layer in the assembly structure of a scintillator substrate and a TFT-PIN array substrate to promote the detective quantum efficiency and image quality of a flat-panel X-Ray detector.

An electromagnetic wave conversion structure consists of a substrate, a plurality of electromagnetic wave conversion units forming a two-dimensional array, a reflective film and a plurality of reflective layers. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface disposed opposite to the first surface. The second surface consists of a plurality of trenches formed in the body of the substrate. Each electromagnetic wave conversion units is disposed in each trench, is used to absorb first electromagnetic waves with a first wavelength and is used to emit second electromagnetic waves with a second wavelength. The first wavelength is shorter than the second wavelength. The reflective film covers the first surface of the substrate and is used to reflect the second electromagnetic wave. Each of the reflective layers is disposed on the sidewall of each trench of the corresponding electromagnetic wave conversion unit.

Conversion structure, image sensor assembly and method for fabricating conversion structure

An in-cell capacitive touch panel is disclosed. The present invention utilizes a sensing unit that comprises a sensing liquid crystal capacitor and three transistors to detect touch events. A first transistor is connected to a first gate line and the sensing liquid crystal capacitor and controlled by the first gate line to charge the sensing liquid crystal capacitor. A second transistor together with a third transistor functions as a capacitance-current converter. The second transistor generates an output current according to the voltage of a first electrode of the sensing liquid crystal capacitor. A second gate line controls the third transistor to transfer the output current through a readout line to a readout unit that determines the touch positions. Thus, the in-cell capacitive touch panel of the present invention can use a simple-structure readout circuit to achieve superior readout accuracy and is adaptive to various sizes of touch panels.

The present invention provides a touch panel and a liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display includes a panel, a plurality of reflective coding patterns printed on the panel, and a polarizing plate positioned on the panel, wherein the reflective coding patterns include a plurality of cholesteric liquid crystal molecules having a pitch length and a index of refraction, and the pitch length multiplied by the index of refraction is within a range of an infrared ray wavelength.

Input displays are provided. A representative input display comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a photo sensor, a color filter, and a light-shielding element. The liquid crystal layer accommodated in a liquid crystal space is sandwiched between transparent first and second substrates, comprising a first substrate side and a second substrate side. The photo sensor overlies the first substrate side. The color filter disposed in the liquid crystal space, over the photo sensor. The color filter comprises a first opening exposing portions of the photo sensor. The light-shielding element is disposed alongside portions of a periphery of the photo sensor.

A fabricating method of a liquid crystal display panel provides a first substrate and a second substrate in a chamber. Liquid crystal with a predetermined weight is dropped on the first substrate at a predetermined temperature higher than room temperature. The first substrate and the second substrate are assembled at the predetermined temperature to seal the liquid crystal with the predetermined weight within a liquid crystal cavity formed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

Fabrication method of liquid crystal display panel and heating apparatus used therein

A repairing method of a liquid crystal display panel having a gravity defect includes steps of providing a first pressure to the liquid crystal display panel. Next, a second pressure is continuously provided to the liquid crystal display panel, and a section from the edge of the liquid crystal panel to the sealant is removed and forming an opening through the closed sealant frame. Then, forcing out the excess liquid crystal to flow out the panel through the cut off sections, cleaning out the excess material including LC mixture around the opening, and sealing the opening with a fresh end sealant. After that, providing a third pressure to the liquid crystal display panel, curing the end sealant to seal the opening, and then removing the third pressure. Finally, annealing the liquid crystal display panel to recover original display quality.

Repairing method for a liquid crystal display panel

The present invention builds a metal electrode that is controlled by the common electrode in each pixel cell. During operation, a voltage is first applied to this metal electrode to transform the liquid crystal molecule over this metal electrode from the splay state to the bend state. Next, a voltage is applied to the pixel electrode to transform the liquid crystal molecule in the whole pixel region from the splay state to the bend state.

Pixel structure for liquid crystal display

A fabricating method of a liquid crystal display panel provides a first substrate and a second substrate. The first substrate has a sealant used for sealing with the second substrate to form a liquid crystal cavity. The first substrate and the second substrate are placed into a chamber to perform a liquid crystal filling process. An end seal process is performed at a predetermined temperature higher than room temperature to seal the liquid crystal with a predetermined weight into the liquid crystal cavity. A liquid crystal injection method, an end seal process, and heating apparatus are also provided.

A structure of an optical compensated bend nematic liquid crystal display panel is disclosed. In one embodiment, the structure includes i) a thin film transistor array substrate, wherein a first alignment layer is formed on a surface of the thin film transistor array substrate and a plurality of first spacers are disposed on the surface of the thin film transistor array substrate, ii) an opposite substrate corresponding to the thin film transistor array substrate, wherein a second alignment layer is formed on a surface of the opposite substrate and a plurality of second spacers are disposed on the surface of the opposite substrate and iii) an isolation layer disposed between the thin film transistor array substrate and the opposite substrate, wherein the isolation layer is made of a plurality of polymers with side chains of high carbon number.

Structure of an optical compensated bend nematic liquid crystal display panel

In accordance with the present invention, a mteal electrode or a common electrode line (both called as Vbias electrode) is built in the pixel region. Holes passing through the pixel electrode are formed in the positions corresponding to the mteal electrode or common electrode line (both called as Vbias electrode) so as to reduce the crosswise electrical field. The liquid crystal molecule in the whole pixel region is in a splay state.

An in-plane switching liquid crystal display, especially relative to an in-plane switching liquid crystal display with the absence of an overcoat layer is provided. The in-plane switching liquid crystal display having a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched therebetween, a plurality of gate lines and data lines disposed on the first substrate, a counter electrode disposed on the second substrate and corresponding to one of the data lines, a pixel having a pixel electrode, a pair of shielding electrodes and a common electrode also disposed on the first substrate. The present invention provides a manufacturing method of an image TFT array, which includes providing a substrate including a thin film transistor region, a storage capacitor region, a pad region, and a common electrode region, forming a photoresist layer on the substrate, and performing a photolithographic and etching process by utilizing a half-tone mask to pattern the photoresist layer to define a position of a through hole on the storage capacitor region and form the photoresist layer of a first thickness on the thin film transistor region and the photoresist layer of a second thickness on the region between the thin film transistor region and the storage capacitor region, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness.

Structure and manufacturing method of an image TFT array

A method for manufacturing a reflective coding plate is provided. The method includes steps of providing a first substrate, forming a mixture layer on the first substrate, providing a second substrate on the mixture layer and thereby a sandwich structure is formed, performing an orientation process on the sandwich structure, providing a mask having a code pattern thereon on one side of the sandwich structure, exposing the side of the sandwich structure to a UV light, removing the second substrate, and removing an unreacted part of the mixture layer.
