A saddle type vehicle includes a seat rail and a seat that is attached to the seat rail. The seat rail includes an outer edge that is placed on an outward side in a vehicle body width direction and an inner edge that is placed on an inward side in the vehicle body width direction and higher than the outer edge. On the other hand, the seat includes a sitting part. When the sitting part sits on an upper surface of the inner edge, a side part of the seat surrounds (covers) the sitting part.

Saddle type vehicle

A front structure of a saddled vehicle having a meter unit of a less thickness and rendering meter-side and wiring-side couplers hardly visible from the outside is disclosed. The front structure includes a stem shaft rotatably mounted through a head pipe disposed in a front portion of a vehicle body frame and steerably supporting a front wheel, a top bridge coupling the stem shaft with a handle, a meter unit disposed in front of the top bridge and including a meter display on a top face of the meter unit, a meter-side coupler disposed on the meter unit, and a wiring-side coupler disposed on a side of wiring connected to the meter-side coupler, wherein the meter unit includes a coupler support member extending behind the meter display and supporting the meter-side coupler, and the coupler support member is disposed below the top bridge.

Front structure of saddled vehicle

A pulsar ring which is a detection target ring includes an annular base wall having pickup holes and a plurality of ring attachment portions protruding from an outer peripheral edge portion of the base wall and being fixed, together with a disc attachment portion of a brake disc, to a wheel of a vehicle wheel assembly. Regions corresponding to positions between adjacent ring attachment portions in an inner peripheral edge portion of the base wall are bent to form reinforcing ribs.

A motorcycle includes a muffler assembly including a muffler and a muffler cover arranged on one side of a rear wheel in a lateral direction. The motorcycle also includes a housing box resembling the muffler assembly and arranged substantially parallel to the muffler assembly on the other side of the rear wheel in the lateral direction. The housing box has a shape substantially similar to a shape of the muffler assembly, thereby forming a pseudo muffler assembly or replica muffler assembly.

A body cover structure of a motorcycle includes an upper cover arranged at a position above a front wheel operatively attached to a lower end of a front fork steerably supported by a head pipe at a front end of a body frame, and a pair of right and left cowls that cover at least a portion of a fuel tank mounted on the body frame. The upper cover includes a covering portion for covering a portion of a fuel tank, and each overhanging portion including a ridge line portion that ranges to a lower end of the upper cover, when viewed in a side view, is provided with a respective cowl connected to the upper cover with a portion of each cowl overlapped with the rear of the upper cover, such that the overhanging portion extends outwardly beyond the upper cover in a vehicle-width direction.
