A method for selective noise suppression in an audio playback is provided. The method includes providing a processor, obtaining a microphone state and a playback device state with the processor from an operating system, determining the audio playback is communication audio based on the microphone state and the playback device state, and enabling applying noise suppression to the audio playback if the audio playback is communication audio, is not music and noise is present, or otherwise disabling applying noise suppression to the audio playback.

Method for selective noise suppression in audio playback

A method for muting and unmuting a microphone is provided. The method includes providing a processor, receiving an input microphone signal, measuring the input microphone signal for a loudness level at a sampling rate, calculating a mute threshold level, checking if the loudness level is higher than or equal to the mute threshold level, and resetting a mute delay timer upon determining that the loudness level is higher than or equal to the mute threshold level and obtaining the input microphone signal, or checking if the mute delay timer is running upon determining that the loudness level is not higher than or equal to the mute threshold level and attenuating the input microphone signal if the mute delay timer is not running or obtaining the input microphone signal if the mute delay timer is still running, and writing the input microphone signal or attenuated input microphone signal to an output buffer.

Method to mute and unmute a microphone signal

A chair system including a main unit and an untethered chair is provided. The main unit includes a wireless transmitter, a subwoofer, an audio stream receiver and a processor. The untethered chair includes a plurality of speakers, a power source and a wireless receiver for receiving a processed audio stream from the main unit.

There is provided an apparatus configured to control a plurality of light emitting elements so that the light emitting elements display a lighting behavior. The apparatus includes a control portion operable to generate an instruction sequence. The instruction sequence controls the lighting behavior of the light emitting elements. The instruction sequence can include a plurality of lighting instructions. The control portion can include a first input portion and an option portion. The first input portion generates a first lighting instruction of the plurality of lighting instructions and the option portion can be operated by, for example, a user to present a second input portion for generating a second lighting instruction of the plurality of lighting instructions. The lighting behavior displayed by the light emitting elements can have a lighting sequence which is based on the instruction sequence where the first lighting instruction is followed by the second lighting instruction.

Apparatus for controlling lighting behavior of a plurality of lighting elements and a method therefor

Rotate-and-pull mechanisms for fiber optic modules. The rotate-and-pull mechanisms have a lever-actuator to unlatch and withdraw a fiber optic module from a cage assembly or a module receptacle. The lever-actuator pivotally couples to the fiber optic module so that when lever-actuator is rotated about its pivot point, the lever-actuator causes the second actuator to release the fiber optic module from the cage assembly. The lever-actuator includes an actuating-tab to cause the second actuator to move when the lever-actuator is rotated. By pulling the lever-actuator away from the cage assembly, the fiber optic module is withdrawn from the cage assembly. A belly-to-belly mounting configuration is introduced for the rotate-and-pull release fiber optic modules.
