Systems, methods, and devices for medical imaging are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method for imaging an anatomic region includes receiving, from a detector carried by an imaging arm of an x-ray imaging apparatus, a plurality of images of the anatomic region. The images can be obtained during manual rotation of the imaging arm. The imaging arm can be stabilized by a shim structure during the manual rotation. The method can also include receiving, from at least one sensor coupled to the imaging arm, pose data of the imaging arm during the manual rotation. The method can further include generating, based on the images and the pose data, a 3D representation of the anatomic region.

Medical imaging systems and associated devices and methods

A system and method for a hybrid detector for a computed tomography (CT) system are provided that include a semiconductor detector arranged to generate photon-counting CT data upon receiving x-rays and a scintillator detector arranged proximate to the semiconductor detector to receive scattered x-rays and generate energy-integrating CT data upon receiving the scattered x-rays.

A system and method for creating computed tomography (CT) images includes acquiring or accessing sinogram data and determining a photon count for the sinogram data. A system and method for detection of x-rays is provided. An x-ray detector system may include an energy-integrating x-ray detector having an array of x-ray sensing elements that are configured to sense x-rays emitted from an x-ray source and generate energy-integrating x-ray data. The system may also include a photon-counting detector having another array of x-ray sensing elements configured to determine an interaction between individual x-ray photons with individual sensing elements of the another array of x-ray sensing elements to generate photon-counting x-ray data. Multi-detector systems and methods for x-ray imaging

A system and method for generating reports on perfusion blood volume from computed tomography (CT) data acquired from a subject. The method includes receiving multi-faceted CT data acquired from the subject using one of a multi-energy or polychromatic CT acquisition and deriving an iodine concentration in an artery feeding a volume of interest (VOI) in the multi-faceted CT data. The method further includes determining an effective atomic number of a spatial distribution in the VOL calculating a perfused blood volume of the VOI using the iodine concentration and the effective atomic number, and generating a report of the perfused blood volume of the VOI.

A system and method for generating a parametric map of a subject's brain includes receiving non-contrast computed tomography (NCCT) imaging data and receiving computed tomography perfusion (CTP) data.
