A bait composition in a tablet form, which comprises as the essential components (a) at least one insect-growth controlling agent selected from (a-1) insect juvenile hormone-like compounds and (a-2) insect chitin-synthesis inhibitors in a microencapsulated form and (b) dextrin, optionally with an additional or auxiliary agent(s).

Poison bait for control of noxious insects

A bait composition in a tablet form, which comprises as the essential components (a) at least one insect-growth controlling agent chosen from (a-1) insect juvenile hormone-like compounds and (a-2) insect chitin-synthesis inhibitors, (b) dextrin and (c) a plant oil in an amount of not more than 10% by weight to the total bait composition.

A composition which comprises (a) at least one insecticide selected from the group consisting of organic phosphorous insecticides, carbamate insecticides and pyrethroid insecticide, (b) crystalline cellulose and (c) crop product powders evaporated with (d) an essential oil and (e) a saccharide respectively in amounts of 0.1 to 10.0% by weight and 10.0 to 40.0% by weight based on the total weight of the composition, which is useful as a bait for the control of noxious insects.

A composition which includes (a) at least one insecticide selected from the group consisting of organic phosphorous insecticides, carbamate insecticides and pyrethroid insecticides in a microencapsulated form, (b) crystalline cellulose and (c) crop product powders, which is useful as a bait for control of noxious insects.
