Disclosed is a multilayered-stretched resin film characterized in that on the back surface of a printable front layer (A) comprising a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic finepowder, and/or an organic filler is laminated a back layer (B) comprising a surface-treated inorganic finepowder and a thermoplastic resin comprising a hydrophilic thermoplastic resin, and in that the peel strength of back layer (B) is from 10 to 200 g/cm. The multilayered-stretched resin film affords good suitability for printing and embossing, that can be directly adhered to a wall or the like using a water-soluble adhesive without necessitating a backing of natural paper required by conventional wallpapers, and that can be readily peeled off the wall in a manner permitting recycling.

Provided is a composition for a printing medium and a printing medium that can be suitably used for a plurality of printing methods, including a plurality of plateless printing methods such as thermal transfer printing, electrophotographic printing, and inkjet printing methods. A coating layer is provided on at least one surface of a support body, and includes (a) a cationic urethane-based resin, (b) an olefin copolymer emulsion, and (c) an ethyleneimine-based resin. The solid mass of the coating layer on one surface of the support body may be 0.01-5 g/m.

A paper seal comprising a stretched thermoplastic resin film that comprises (a) a surface layer, (b) a substrate layer, and (c) a water-based adhesive-receiving layer having a water absorption level of from 2 to 25 ml/m, wherein the stretched thermoplastic resin film has a porosity of from 20 to 50% and a 120&#xb0;-opening time by bending repulsion of from 20 to 70 seconds. The paper seal can be stuck in a flat state without being curled by the environmental influence during labeling or by the influence of seasonal variation, and can be peeled off completely.

The invention provides a label for in-mold forming which tenaciously adheres to molded articles regardless of the materials of the molded articles, is usable under a wide range of molded-article molding conditions, and has an excellent print finish. The invention relates to: a label for in-mold forming, which comprises a resin film comprising a heat-sealable layer and a printing layer, wherein the heat-sealable layer has a rate of surface aperture of 6-30%, the printing layer has a dot skipping of 5% or lower, and the printing layer has a Bekk's surface smoothness (JIS-P-8119) of 650-20,000 seconds; and a molded article using the label.

Disclosed is a stretched resin film having a liquid absorption coefficient of at least 5 ml/(m&#xb7;ms). The stretched resin film has good liquid absorbability with good seepage resistance. When stuck to objects with a water-base adhesive, it dries within a short period of time and attains good adhesiveness.

A synthetic paper made of a stretched resin film; said stretched resin film being obtained by stretching a resin film having as a support a resin composition which contains: (A) from 30 to 80% by weight of a crystalline polyolefin resin; and (B) from 70 to 20% by weight of milled calcium carbonate particles at a temperature lower than the melting point of said crystalline polyolefin resin employed as the component (A); and an inkjet recording paper made by using this synthetic paper. Because of having projections of finely milled calcium carbonate particles with a hydrophilic surface around which a number of fine cracks are formed, the synthetic paper shows improved moisture absorptivity for water color inks and aqueous adhesives, quick drying properties and excellent printability.
