A connector includes a first housing, a second housing and a fitting assuring member. The second housing includes a first locking protrusion portion having a first slope. The fitting assuring member includes a first assuring locking portion that gets over the first locking protrusion portion to be thereby locked to the first locking protrusion portion when the first housing and the second housing are fitted to each other. The first assuring locking portion begins to slide on the first slope before completion of the fitting, and stays on the first slope until the completion of the fitting.

Connector and connector unit

A connector includes a housing formed with a L-shape in a side view having a connection portion capable of fitting to a mating connector, a terminal mounted on the housing by inserting a connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion of the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted on the electric wire and assembled from the rear side of the housing, and a cover mounted on the rear surface of the housing and covering the terminal and the ferrite core. The cover includes a recessed portion, which receives an end portion of the ferrite core inclined by an external impact, on a facing surface facing the ferrite core assembled to the housing.

Connector

A connector connection structure includes a first connector and a second connector. A second component of the first connector includes a pair of locking arm portions protruding outwardly from an outer periphery of a main body portion of the second component at opposite end portions of the outer periphery. A first component of the first connector includes an abutting surface extending in an up-and-down direction on an inner periphery of a cylindrical portion of the first component and facing toward a rear side of the first connector in a fitting direction. The pair of locking arm portions and the abutting surface have a structure in which at least one part of a tip surface of the locking arm portions first receives a force from the abutting surface when the tip surface receives the force on the rear side in the fitting direction from the abutting surface.

Connector connection structure and connector

A connector includes: a housing which is connected to a counterpart connector; and a slider held in the housing to be movable in a fitting direction. The housing and the slider include: a guide mechanism configured to guide a movement of the slider to the housing in the fitting direction; and a stopper mechanism configured to prevent the slider from being detached from the housing to the front side of the connector in the fitting direction. The guide mechanism has: a pair of ribs provided in one of the housing and the slider, the ribs extending in the fitting direction; and a pair of grooves provided in the other of the housing and the slider, the grooves extending in the fitting direction. The stopper mechanism is provided at a location adjacent to an end part of the guide mechanism at the front side of the connector in the fitting direction.

A connector includes a housing having a terminal receiving chamber having an opening on one or both of opposite sides in a preset direction crossing an insertion direction of a connection terminal; and a side retainer having a pair of opposed plate portions disposed in positions to sandwich the housing from the opposite sides in the preset direction. The side retainer is attached laterally to the housing and movably supported on the housing to move between a temporary locking position to temporarily lock the connection terminal and a formal locking position to formally lock the connection terminal. One or both of the opposed plate portions of the side retainer covers one or both of the opposite sides of the terminal receiving chamber when the side retainer locates at the formal locking position.

Connector with a locking retainer

A member locking structure includes: a first locking portion provided in a first member; and a second locking portion provided in a second member. The first locking portion and the second locking portion have a first locking face and a second locking face. The first locking face has a first inclined face and a first abutment portion. The second locking face has a second inclined face and a second abutment portion. The first inclined face contacts the second abutment portion and then the first abutment portion contacts the second inclined face, during a relative movement of the first member to the second member in an opposite direction to the locking direction from the locking state, to elastically deform the first locking portion in a direction opposite to lock on the second locking portion by the first inclined face and the second inclined face to release the locking state.

Member locking structure

A connector includes a housing; and a fitting assurance member slidably attached to an outer side of the housing. The housing has a locking portion to be locked to the locked portion during a movement of the housing in a fitting direction to the counterpart housing. The fitting assurance member slides and moves relatively to the housing in the fitting direction from a temporary locking position to a formal locking position. The housing has an unlocking operation portion to apply unlocking force to the locking portion. The fitting assurance member has a pair of side walls on the outer side of the housing and a coupling portion connecting end portions of the pair of side walls. The coupling portion is located between the unlocking operation portion and the housing and separated from the unlocking operation portion.

An electrical connector includes a housing body and a cover. The housing body includes a terminal accommodating hole that accommodates a terminal fitting, and a ferrite accommodating portion that accommodates a ferrite core. The cover covers the terminal fitting and the ferrite core attached to the housing body. The ferrite accommodating portion includes a ferrite accommodation chamber into which the ferrite core is inserted in a first direction perpendicular to a second direction in which the terminal fitting is inserted into the terminal accommodating hole, and protrusions provided on both inner side surfaces of the ferrite accommodation chamber facing in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction. The protrusions are engaged with concave portions formed on both side surfaces of the ferrite core to regulate movement of the ferrite core in the second direction.

Electrical connector

A connector includes: a terminal fitting having a body portion; and a housing having a cavity that receives the terminal fitting, wherein the body portion has a first protrusion that protrudes from an outer surface of the body portion and an interference avoiding portion, wherein the first protrusion and the interference avoiding portion are disposed to be opposed to each other substantially in a diagonal line on a virtual projection plane, and wherein the cavity is formed with, in an inner surface thereof, a first groove into which the first protrusion is allowed to enter only when the terminal fitting has a proper insertion posture relative to the cavity and an interference portion that is formed to swell from the inner surface of the cavity to narrow a gap with the interference avoiding portion.

Electrical connector with terminal orientation features

A terminal fitting includes: a body portion having a space for inserting a tab of a mating terminal therein; an elastic contact piece provided to face the space, having a configuration as to be extended like a cantilever in a direction of an insertion and pull-out of the tab with respect to the space through a wall-shaped portion constituting the body portion, and having a contact portion to come in contact with the tab; and an elastic reinforcing piece provided on an opposite side to the space with the elastic contact piece interposed therebetween, having a configuration as to be extended like a cantilever in the direction of the insertion and pull-out of the tab from the wall-shaped portion constituting the body portion, and causing an extended end to correspond to a displaced region in an elastic flexure in the elastic contact piece.
