An electromagnetic fuel injection valve for use in an internal combustion engine includes a valve body provided with a valve seat and a valve member having an abutting part moved within the valve body by an electromagnetic actuator between a closed position where the abutting part abuts against the valve seat to interrupt supply of fuel to the engine and an open position where the abutting portion is spaced from the valve seat to permit supply of the fuel to the engine. The valve member has a metering portion which cooperates with the valve seat to define therebetween a fuel metering gap when the valve member is in the open position. The abutting part of the valve member is located downstream of the metering portion with reference to a flow direction of the fuel so that the metering portion is always immersed in the fuel when the valve member is in the closed position.

Electromagnetic fuel injection valve for internal combustion engine

A fuel injection apparatus for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, having a single fuel injection valve arranged above a throttle valve. A collector member arranged in a throttle bore of the engine so that the member faces the fuel injection nozzle. A cam and link mechanism adapted for connecting the collector member and a throttle shaft, so that a position of the collector member with respect to the axis of the throttle bore changes in accordance with the degree of the opening of the throttle valve. Therefore, an air fuel mixture having a constant air fuel ratio is supplied to all cylinders of the engine.

Fuel injection apparatus for an internal combustion engine

An attaching construction for attaching an ignition coil device to the external surface of an internal combustion engine, in which a coil side bracket is mounted to the ignition coil device, an engine side bracket is mounted to the external surface of the internal combustion engine, and a layer, formed of a resilient rubber-like elastomer with low heat conductivity and high temperature resistance, is provided to extend between the coil side bracket and the engine side bracket, so as to join them, and thereby to mount the ignition coil device to the internal combustion engine.

A fuel pressure regulator for use in a fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine has a housing defining therein a fuel passage having upstream and downstream ends connected to a main fuel supply conduit and a fuel return pipeline, respectively. The fuel supply conduit is connected with fuel injectors at points upstream of the fuel pressure regulator. A first valve is provided in the fuel passage at a point downstream of a restriction also provided in the fuel passage. A fuel chamber is provided in the fuel passage between the restriction and the first valve. The first valve is opened when the fuel pressure in the fuel chamber exceeds a first predetermined pressure level to allow the fuel to flow from the fuel chamber to the return pipeline. A bypass fuel passage bypasses the restriction and has its downstream end connected to the fuel chamber. A second valve is provided in the bypass passage and is opened when the fuel pressure in the upstream end of the fuel passage exceeds a second predetermined pressure level higher than the first predetermined pressure level to allow the fuel to flow through the bypass passage.
