A knitting method is provided to knit a knitted fabric to the desired shape with sufficient pull down force acting to the knitted fabric without being piled up, when performing the bind off process after flechage knitting. The knitting method is related to knitting a knitted fabric of performing a bind off process after flechage knitting by using a flat knitting having at least a pair of front and back needle beds extending in a transverse direction and disposed opposite to each other in a cross direction, at least either of which is capable of being racked in the transverse direction so that loops can be transferred between the front and back needle beds. In knitting of narrowing a knitting width with flechage knitting, knitting a predetermined number of courses with flechage knitting by feeding a yarn from a flechage knitting yarn feeder, and binding off at least one loop held on a knitting needle without forming a stitch at the end of the knitting width by feeding a yarn from a bind off process yarn feeder different from the flechage knitting yarn feeder, and knitting steps are repeated.

A knitting method for knitting a tubular knitting fabric having gores of front and back knitted fabric parts which are different in size in the manner that no twisting of loops can be provided at the stage of the completion of the joining of the gores so that the tubular knitted fabric can be knitted up continuously without any need of rotation operation. Knitting method of tubular knitted fabric

When knitting a tubular knitted fabric having a difference in the number of wales between a front knitted fabric and a back knitted fabric, knitted fabrics are knitted alternately while turning the tubular knitted fabric and jointing the front section having a large number of wales at middle portions. The present invention provides a knitting method for knitting knitwear having raglan sleeves and knitwear thus formed, wherein a beautiful silhouette is gained when being put on, which knitwear is knitted in a seamless manner by using a flat knitting machine. It is a method of knitting knitwear with raglan sleeves formed by using a flat knitting machine, wherein the length of the back body is formed to be longer than the length of the front body. The sleeves and the front body are joined and then the sleeves and the back body are joined, while the bodies and the sleeves are knitted. After the sleeves and the front body are joined, the stepand stepare repeated. In the step, a boundary between the right and back parts of one side of the sleeve is placed between a pair of the front and back needle beds, and a neckline forming part of one side of the sleeve is knitted together with the back body, while a knitting width of the neckline forming part is narrowed by flechage knitting so that one side of the sleeve and the back body are joined. In the step, a boundary between the right and back parts of the other side of the sleeve is placed between a pair of the front and back needle beds, and the neckline forming part of the other side of the sleeve is knitted together with the back body, while a knitting width of the neckline forming part is narrowed by flechage knitting so that the other side of the sleeve and the back body are joined.

Method of knitting knitwear with raglan sleeves and knitwear with raglan sleeves

A method for seamlessly knitting knitwear having a broad neckline with a flat knitting machine includes forming a neckline by a first step in which a breast is knitted by branching off into right and left breasts from its front neckline forming portion. All knitted loops, excluding those of either the right or left breast to be knitted and including those of a front neckline, are transferred to the other empty needles, and knitting for forming increases of the front neckline at the other empty needles is performed while racking the needle bed. In a second step, one of the ends of a back and the end (close to an armhole) of either the right or left breast knitted by the first step are facing each other, and these ends are joined together by shoulder casting off. In a third step, the end of the back which is not subjected to shoulder casting off and the end (close to the armhole) of the breast which is not subjected to shoulder casting off are arranged to face each other and are joined together by shoulder casting off.

Method of knitting knit-wear

In knitting a neck hole, a left front body is knitted on a front needle bed while making widening stitches, and stitches of the neck hole and a right front body both being in halt are transferred onto a back needle bed, and with widening stitch, the back needle bed is racked in a direction moving away from the left front body. After knitting the neck hole of the left front body, the left front body and the neck hole are transferred onto the back needle bed, and the right front body is transferred back to the front needle bed, and the right front body is knitted while making widening stitches. With the widening stitch of the right front body, the back needle bed is racked in a direction moving away from the right front body. In knitting the neck hole (), wales extending from a take down roller to the knitting point are brought close to the perpendicular direction so that an appropriate take down force is applied to the stitches being knitted. As a result, a deep neck hole can be knitted under good knitting conditions.

A tubular knitted fabric () having a first knitted fabric and a second knitted fabric joined together continuously at both ends thereof and a laminating part () formed in the first knitted fabric at which the knitted fabric is partly laminated in two or more layers is knitted by the method comprising the step of forming the tubular knitted fabric via a full-gauge loop arrangement, the knitting width widening step (s) of shifting loops of wale where the laminating part () is formed and loops of wale positioned closer to a side end of the knitted fabric than the wale where the laminating part () is formed, to provide a half-gauge loop arrangement wherein empty needles for stitch transfer are arranged between needles used for forming the loops of the wale where the laminating part () is formed, and the step (s) of knitting the first knitted fabric and the second knitted fabric, while the loops of wale where the laminating part () is formed are formed to be fine in size so that when the knitting is ended, the loops of wale where the laminating part () is formed can be substantially equal in size to the loops in other region than the loops of wale where the laminating part () is formed. This can prevent texture differences between the respective knitted fabric parts including the laminating part () at which the knitting fabric is partly laminated in multilayer.

In a method of knitting a tubular knitted fabric comprising a first knitted fabric and a second knitted fabric, regions A, B, C in the first knitted fabric of the tubular knitted fabric are folded back at their respective boundaries and then overlapped with a corresponding part of the second knitted fabric and held in that overlapped state. The method comprises (a) the step of forming the region A in the state in which the regions B and C of the first knitted fabric and the second knitted fabric are attached to needles on the second needle bed, (b) the step of forming the region B of the first knitted fabric in the state in which the region A of the first knitted fabric is attached to needles on the first needle bed and also the region C of the first knitted fabric and the second knitted fabric are attached to the needles on the second needle bed, (c) the step of forming the region C of the first knitted fabric in the state in which the regions A and B of the first knitted fabric is attached to the needles on the first needle bed and also the second knitted fabric is attached to the needles on the second needle bed, and (d) the step of forming the second knitted fabric in the state in which the regions A, B, and C of the first knitted fabric are attached to the needles on the first needle bed. This knitting can permit knitting of the tubular knitted fabric of a larger diameter using the needle bed having the common width.

An object of the invention is to obtain an intarsia pattern fabric which is not likely to cause yarn entanglement, eliminates the need for divided knitting, and provides good productivity even when a cylindrical knitting fabric is to be knitted. in a double bed flat knitting machine, a carriage and an intarsia carrier capable of knitting with two sets of cams are used to knit two courses of knitting fabric by moving a carriage six courses. An intarsia pattern is knitted at a front needle bed FB, and a knitting yarn between the intarsia carrier halted near a boundary and a knitting needle F is used to perform kick-back of the intarsia carrier by the third-course movement of the carriage. A back body is knitted while the yarn is hooked on an unused knitting needle F in a back needle bed BB. The sixth-course movement of the carriage releases a knitting yarn from the knitting beed F in the back needle bed BB while the back body is being knitted.

Stitches of front and back knitted fabrics are overlapped with each other and bound off in the regions located on both the outermost right and left sides in a knitting width at the terminal end of the tubular knitted fabric in which the front and back knitted fabrics are continuous to each other.
