An impact energy absorbing member includes an energy absorbing portion and an attachment portion. The attachment portion is fastened to the bumper reinforcement using a fastener, the fastener extending through the attachment portion and a wall of the bumper reinforcement and including an axis that extends in a direction intersecting an axial direction of the energy absorbing portion. The attachment portion and the energy absorbing portion are in a positional relationship in which the energy absorbing portion does not overlap the fastener when the impact energy absorbing member is viewed in a direction from the bumper reinforcement toward the energy absorbing portion in a vehicle front-rear direction.

A solar cell module includes: a sealing layer in which power generating elements are sealed; a front surface layer formed from resin and joined to a light-receiving surface side of the power generating elements in the sealing layer; and a rear surface layer joined to an opposite side from the light-receiving surface side of the power generating elements in the sealing layer, wherein the front surface layer has a solar cell installation area that forms a portion of a solar cell, and an antenna installation area that extends at a vehicle front side or a vehicle rear side of the solar cell installation area.

A solar cell module having curvature in a vehicle front-rear direction which varies from a vehicle front side towards a vehicle rear side, the solar cell module includes: a sealing layer formed from resin and in which power generating elements are sealed; a front surface layer formed from resin and joined to a light-receiving surface side of the power generating elements in the sealing layer; and a rear surface layer formed from resin and joined to an opposite side from the light-receiving surface side of the power generating elements in the sealing layer, wherein a plate thickness of portions where the front surface layer, the sealing layer, and the rear surface layer are laminated together is formed so as to become proportionately thinner as the curvature in the vehicle front-rear direction increases.

A front pillar structure includes a first skeleton portion, a second skeleton portion extending along the first skeleton portion with a gap therebetween, and a connecting member. A cross-section of the first skeleton portion is a hollow closed cross-section and a width of the first skeleton portion in a horizontal direction orthogonal to a gaze direction of a driver seated in a driver's seat is equal to or less than a standard pupillary distance. A cross-section of the second skeleton portion is a hollow closed cross-section and a width of the second skeleton portion in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the gaze direction is equal to or less than the standard pupillary distance. The connecting member is transparent and is disposed between the first skeleton portion and the second skeleton portion.

A solar panel includes conductors each having a first base portion, which is connected to a third base portion with a first connecting portion, and a second base portion, which is connected to the third base portion with a second connecting portion. Output leads include a distal end portion and an extending portion. The distal end portion extends in a first direction along a second front surface of a back cover and is connected to the third base portion from the side opposite from a solar cell. The extending portion is continuous with the distal end portion and extends in a first direction toward the solar cell along a second back surface of the back cover. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are elastically deformable in the first direction and a second direction, which intersects the first direction.

Solar panel

A method for manufacturing a solar panel includes preparing a laminated body including a plastic protection cover that is light-transmissive and is curved in a convex manner, a flat plastic back cover, a photovoltaic battery cell, and an encapsulant that holds the photovoltaic battery cell in an encapsulated state, mounting the laminated body on a laminating jig such that the back cover abuts the laminating jig, and heating the laminated body with the laminating jig and compression-bonding the laminated body by holding the laminated body between a diaphragm and the laminating jig, thereby obtaining a solar panel from the laminated body. The laminating jig is curved in a convex manner toward the laminated body.

Method for manufacturing solar panel

In an engine room, heat insulators are provided on the rear side in the forth and back direction of a vehicle with respect to an engine and on the front side in the forth and back direction of the vehicle with respect to a dash panel arranged on a back side of the vehicle with respect to the engine. A top flange portion is formed at a top of a first heat insulator. The top flange portion is extending in a direction obliquely upward and backward of the vehicle to guide air heated by an exhaust system from the engine in an upward direction of the vehicle. A top bent portion is formed at a top of a second heat insulator such that the top bent portion is arranged in the vicinity of the cowling panel in order to guide the heated air in an upward direction of the vehicle.

An on-board solar battery module includes: an encapsulant layer of power generating elements; a top surface layer joined to the encapsulant layer on the side corresponding to a light receiving surface side of the power generating elements; and a back surface layer joined to the encapsulant layer on the side opposite the side corresponding to the light receiving surface side of the power generating elements. Furthermore, an end portion of the back surface layer is positioned on the inner side of an end portion of the top surface layer in an extension direction of the top surface layer, and the top surface layer has a general portion that covers the power generating elements, and a peripheral edge portion that is formed at an end portion side thereof on the outer side of the general portion, and that has a thicker panel thickness than that of the general portion.
