A battery includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode active material layer, a negative electrode current collector, and a sealing member. In plan view, the negative electrode active material layer is larger than the solid electrolyte layer. In plan view, each of the positive electrode current collector and the negative electrode current collector is larger than the negative electrode active material layer. In plan view, the sealing member is located outside the solid electrolyte layer. In cross-sectional view perpendicular to a laminating direction, the sealing member is disposed in a region sandwiched between a part of the positive electrode current collector and a part of the negative electrode active material layer and a region sandwiched between another part of the positive electrode current collector and a part of the negative electrode current collector.

Battery

A battery includes: a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer containing a solid electrolyte, a negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector that are laminated in this order; and a sealing member. The battery has an opening hole penetrating the positive electrode current collector, the positive electrode active material layer, the solid electrolyte layer containing the solid electrolyte, the negative electrode active material layer, and the negative electrode current collector in a laminating direction and further includes a sealing member. In cross-sectional view perpendicular to the laminating direction, the sealing member is located between the opening hole and each of the positive electrode active material layer, the solid electrolyte layer, and the negative electrode active material layer.

Battery and laminated battery

A laminated battery includes a plurality of battery cells which are laminated and a current collecting lead. Each of the plurality of battery cells has a structure in which a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector are laminated in this order. The plurality of battery cells include first and second battery cells adjacent to each other. The first battery cell has a surface that faces the second battery cell and includes an exposed surface not in contact with the second battery cell. At least part of the exposed surface does not overlap the second battery cell when viewed from a laminating direction of the battery cells. The current collecting lead is connected to the exposed surface.

Laminated battery

A laminated battery includes battery cells which are laminated and a current collecting lead. Each of the battery cells has a structure in which a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode current collector are laminated in this order. The battery cells include first and second battery cells adjacent to each other. At least the second battery cell has a side surface inclined with respect to a laminating direction of the battery cells. The first battery cell has a surface facing the second battery cell and including an exposed surface not in contact with the second battery cell. At least part of the exposed surface overlaps at least part of the side surface of the second battery cell viewed from the laminating direction. The current collecting lead is connected to the exposed surface.

A battery including a first electrode layer, a solid electrolyte layer on the first electrode layer, a second electrode layer which is located on the solid electrolyte layer and which is a counter electrode layer of the first electrode layer, and a space portion, wherein a first thickness portion is located on the first active material layer, the second thickness portion is located on the first electrode layer, the second active material layer is located at a position which faces the first thickness portion and which does not face the first active material layer via the second thickness portion, the second collector extends to the position facing the second thickness portion and a region provided with the second active material layer, the second thickness portion is in contact with the second electrode layer, and the space portion is surrounded by the second electrode layer and the second thickness portion.

Battery, battery manufacturing method, and battery manufacturing apparatus

A battery includes a first current collector, a first electrode layer, and a first counter electrode layer. The first counter electrode layer is a counter electrode of the first electrode layer, and the first current collector includes a first electroconductive portion, a second electroconductive portion, and a first insulating portion. The first electrode layer is disposed in contact with the first electroconductive portion, and the first counter electrode layer is disposed in contact with the second electroconductive portion. The first insulating portion links the first electroconductive portion and the second electroconductive portion, and the first current collector is folded at the first insulating portion, whereby the first electrode layer and the first counter electrode layer are positioned facing each other.

Battery and battery manufacturing method

A detection system includes a power generation element; a first outer cover body enveloping the power generation element; a second outer cover body located between the power generation element and the first outer cover body, and enveloping the power generation element; a first space section enclosed by the first outer cover body and the second outer cover body; a second space section enclosed by the second outer cover body; and a detector that detects a gas in the first space section.

Detection system

A battery includes: a unit cell including an electrode layer, a counter electrode layer facing the electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer disposed between the electrode layer and the counter electrode layer; an electrode current collector in contact with the electrode layer; a counter electrode current collector in contact with the counter electrode layer; and a seal disposed between the electrode current collector and the counter electrode current collector. The unit cell is disposed between the electrode current collector and the counter electrode current collector. The seal includes at least one protrusion protruding toward the solid electrolyte layer, and at least part of the at least one protrusion is in contact with the solid electrolyte layer.

A battery includes a first current collector, first electrode layer, and first counter electrode layer. The first counter electrode layer is a counter electrode of the first electrode layer. The first current collector includes first front and rear face regions, second front and rear face regions, and a first fold portion. The first rear face region is a region situated on the rear face of the first front face region. The second rear face region is a region situated on the rear face of the second front face region. The first fold portion is situated between the first and second front face regions. The first current collector is folded at the first fold portion, whereby the first and second rear face regions face each other. The first electrode layer is in contact with the second front face region, and the first counter electrode layer with the first front face region.

Battery and battery manufacturing method with folded construction

A battery includes a first current collector, a first electrode layer, and a first counter electrode layer. The first counter electrode layer is a counter electrode of the first electrode layer. The first current collector includes a first electroconductive portion, a second electroconductive portion, and a first insulating portion. The first electrode layer is disposed in contact with the first electroconductive portion. The first counter electrode layer is disposed in contact with the second electroconductive portion. The first insulating portion links the first electroconductive portion and the second electroconductive portion. The first current collector is folded at the first insulating portion, whereby the first electrode layer and the first counter electrode layer are positioned facing each other.

A battery includes: a unit cell including an electrode layer, a counter electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer; an electrode current collector; an electrode current collector; a counter electrode current collector; and a seal disposed between the electrode current collector and the counter electrode current collector. The thickness of a first stack portion is larger than the thickness of a second stack portion. The first stack portion includes: a first sealing portion that is at least part of the seal; a part of the electrode current collector that overlaps the first sealing portion; and a part of the counter electrode current collector that overlaps the first sealing portion. The second stack portion includes: the unit cell; a part of the electrode current collector that overlaps the unit cell; and a part of the counter electrode current collector that overlaps the unit cell.

Battery and cell stack

A battery is provided which includes a first power generating element, a second power generating element, and a first adhesion layer adhering the first power generating element to the second power generating element. A first positive electrode collector of the first power generating element and a second negative electrode collector of the second power generating element face each other with (i.e., via) the first adhesion layer. Between the first positive electrode collector and the second negative electrode collector, the first adhesion layer is disposed in a region forming a first positive electrode active material layer or a region forming a second negative electrode active material layer, whichever is smaller. In the first power generating element, the inner layer of a first electrode current collector is in contact with a first electrode active material layer. The outer layers of the first electrode current collector and the second electrode current collector are in contact with each other. The inner layer of the first electrode current collector contains a first material; the inner layer of the second electrode current collector contains a third material different from the first material; the outer layer of the second electrode current collector contains a second material different from the first material; and the outer layer of the first electrode current collector contains the second material.

The unit cell is disposed between the electrode current collector and the counter electrode current collector.
