An addition curable type silicone resin composition includes (a) an organopolysiloxane having an alkenyl group bonded to a silicon atom, (b) an organopolysiloxane represented by the formula, (RRSiO)(RRSiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)(R(OR)SiO)(SiO), (c) an organohydrogen polysiloxane represented by RHSiO, (d) a platinum group metal catalyst, and (e) a polyorganometallosiloxane containing an Si&#x2014;O&#x2014;Ce bond, and an Si&#x2014;O&#x2014;Ti bond, and contents of Ce and Ti of which are each 50 to 5,000 ppm, which cures by heating. According to this constitution, it is provided an addition curable type silicone resin composition which can provide a cured product excellent in transparency, and less change in hardness and weight loss under high temperature conditions.

A silicone gel composition including: an organopolysiloxane shown by the following general formula: RRSiO, having one or more alkenyl groups bound to a silicon atom in one molecule, wherein the amount is 100 parts by mass; an organohydrogenpolysiloxane shown by the following general formula: RHSiO, having two or more hydrogen atoms bound to a silicon atom in one molecule, wherein the amount is such that 0.6 to 3 hydrogen atoms bound to a silicon atom is contained relative to one alkenyl group bound to a silicon atom in the component; a platinum-based catalyst, wherein the amount is an effective amount; and a carbon nanotube, wherein the amount is 0.01 to 3 parts by mass. This provides a silicone gel composition which can be a silicone gel cured product with low elastic modulus, low stress, and excellent heat resistance at 230&#xb0; C., when it is cured.

A curable silicone gel composition that is of low viscosity, exhibits good fluidity, and generates a silicone gel that exhibits good resistance to external stress and thermal stress. Provided is a silicone gel composition including (A) an organopolysiloxane containing at least one alkenyl group bonded to a silicon atom within each molecule, represented by an average composition formula: RRSiO(wherein, each R group represents, independently, an alkenyl group, each Rgroup represents, independently, an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group that contains no aliphatic unsaturated bonds, a represents a positive number from 0.0001 to 0.2, b represents a positive number from 1.7 to 2.2, and a+b represents a number within a range from 1.9 to 2.4), (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms within each molecule, and (C) a platinum-based catalyst. Also provided is the silicone gel composition stated above, in which a penetration value of a cured product of this composition, as defined in JIS K2220, is within a range from 20 to 200. The silicone gel composition generates a silicone gel cured product which displays a low elastic modulus and low stress, and suffers no oil bleeding over time.

Silicone gel composition

A curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided, which includes (A) an organopolysiloxane containing at least one silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group within each molecule, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, which contains, within each molecule, at least one silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom at a molecular chain terminal, and at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms at non-terminal positions within the molecular chain, and which satisfies the formula shown below:0&#x3c;&#x3b1;/&#x3b2;0.25(wherein, &#x3b1; represents the number of silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms at non-terminal positions within the molecular chain, and &#x3b2; represents the total number of silicon atoms within the component (B)), in sufficient quantity to provide from 0.1 to 5 silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group within the component (A), and (C) a platinum-based catalyst. The composition can be cured even at low temperatures, generates a cured product that suffers no surface wrinkling, and displays excellent storage characteristics.

Curable organopolysiloxane composition

In a one part organopolysiloxane gel composition comprising an alkenyl-containing branched organopolysiloxane, an SiH-termined organohydrogenpolysiloxane, and an addition reaction catalyst, the catalyst is obtained by heat aging a mixing of a platinum complex having an alkenyl-containing silane or organosiloxane as a ligand, a phosphite, and an organohydrogenpolysiloxane at 30-120&#xb0; C. and an organic peroxide is concomitantly used. The composition inhibits addition reaction at room temperature, maintains storage stability over a long period, yet can cure rapidly at moderate temperature.

One part organopolysiloxane gel composition

A silicone composition comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least one lower alkenyl group in a molecule, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two SiH groups in a molecule, (C) a platinum catalyst, and (D) at least one compound selected from among indoline, 1,2,3-triazole, 1,2,4-triazole, imidazole, indazole, benzoxazole, 2-hydroxybenzoxazole, 5-benzyloxyindole, 1,2-benzisoxazole, 2,1-benzisoxazole, and 1,3-benzodioxole cures effectively into a transparent rubbery or gel product having flame retardance.

Flame retardant silicone compositions

A one-part polysiloxane composition comprising a branched organopolysiloxane with vinyl groups bonded to silicon atoms, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane with at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to molecular chain terminal silicon atoms within each molecule, and a platinum based catalyst, together with an additional phosphite triester and an organic peroxide, is resistant to increases in viscosity, and does not gel, even on extended storage at room temperature. Even after storage, the characteristics of the cured gel product are unchanged. Accordingly, a composition of the present invention offers excellent long term storage stability at room temperature.
