A device according to an embodiment includes an inverter main circuit; a detector configured to detect a current of an output line of the inverter main circuit; a starting time controller comprising a rotational phase angle estimator configured to calculate, based on a current response value detected by the detector, a value corresponding to a rotational phase angle of a motor connected to the inverter main circuit in a stationary reference frame, and a rotational speed estimator configured to calculate a value corresponding to a rotational speed of the motor by using the value corresponding to the rotational phase angle when the inverter main circuit is started; and a regular time controller configured to calculate, with the value corresponding to the rotational speed as an initial value, an estimated rotational phase angle of the motor in a rotating reference frame.

An inverter control apparatus and a motor drive system includes an inverter main circuit that drives a synchronous motor; an electric-current detector that detects an electric current flowing between the inverter main circuit and the synchronous motor; a command generator that generates an electric-current command value of an output electric current that is output from the inverter main circuit to the synchronous motor, in accordance with a torque command that is supplied externally; and an electric-current controller that generates a voltage command value for the inverter main circuit so that the electric-current command value and a detected electric-current value detected in the electric-current detector are equal to each other. The power-fluctuation reducing apparatus includes adjusting direct current voltages output from the secondary batteries, respectively, detecting the directing current voltages output from the secondary batteries, respectively, controlling to adjust the direct current voltages output from the secondary batteries to make the direct current voltages uniform, based on the detected direct current voltages, and controlling the converter to reduce power fluctuations in the power generation system.

A PWM modulation unit modulates a three-phase voltage instruction, which is input, on the basis of a PWM method, and outputs a gate signal to each phase switching element of an inverter. A high-frequency component arithmetic unit calculates, at each time of switching of the inverter, a high-frequency component of a current occurring due to a voltage which is determined by the PWM modulation unit and is output from the inverter. An index arithmetic unit calculates, as an index R proportional to a rotational phase angle estimation error, from the high-frequency component of the current. A rotational phase angle estimation unit executes an estimation arithmetic operation of the rotational phase angle by using the index R. The invention provides a synchronous motor sensorless control apparatus which enables stable driving with simple adjustment, and does not cause an extreme increase in amount of arithmetic calculations.
