An X-ray generation device includes a cathode including an electron source generating an electron beam, an anode including a target to transmit an X-ray generated by collision of the electron beam, and a convergence electrode converging the electron beam toward the target. The target has a first region having a locally small thickness and a second region having a larger thickness than the first region. The X-ray generation device further includes a deflection unit to switch an incident position of the electron beam between the first region and the second region. The deflection unit has an adjustment mode to adjust an X-ray focal spot diameter and an X-ray generation mode to generate an X-ray, the electron beam is caused to enter the first region in the adjustment mode, and the electron beam is caused to enter the second region in the X-ray generation mode.

X-ray generation device and X-ray image capture system

The present disclosure provides a reliable X-ray generating tube that forms a focus with a stable size and shape. The X-ray generating tube includes an electron gun including an electron emitting portion, a plurality of grid electrodes, and an insulating support member that supports the plurality of grid electrodes. The electron gun includes a conductive section that hides the insulating support member to prevent the insulating support member from being directly viewed from an electron through path of electrons emitted from the electron emitting portion and passing through the grid electrodes.

X-ray generating tube, X-ray generating apparatus, and radiography system

An electron gun includes a cathode including an electron emitting portion, an extraction electrode for extracting electrons emitted from the electron emitting portion, and a focusing electrode for focusing the electrons extracted by the extraction electrode. The focusing electrode includes an outside electrode having a tubular shape, and an inside electrode arranged inside the outside electrode. The inside electrode defines a first space having a columnar shape, and includes a first surface on a side of the cathode, and a second surface on an opposite side of the first surface. An inside surface of the outside electrode and the second surface of the inside electrode define a second space. The inside electrode includes an electron passage hole, and a communicating portion which makes the first space and the second space communicate with each other.

The electron gun includes cathode having electron emitting portion, extraction electrode to extract the electrons from the electron emitting portion, and focusing electrode to focus the extracted electrons. The focusing electrode includes first portion having tubular shape, and second portion arranged inside the first portion. The first portion includes distal end facing the anode, the second portion includes opposing surface facing the anode, and the opposing surface includes electron passage hole through which the electrons from the electron emitting portion pass. Distance between the distal end and the anode is shorter than that between the opposing surface and the anode. Thermal conductivity of the distal end is lower than that of the second portion.

An X-ray generation tube including a magnetic deflection portion configured to deflect an electron beam to reduce lines of magnetic force extending to the outside of the tube, where a subject is arranged, by placement of a magnetic shielding portion including a portion that is closer to an anode than the magnetic deflection portion in a tube axial direction and that is closer to the tube center axis than the magnetic deflection portion in a tube radial direction.

An X-ray generating tube including a transmission target having a minute focal spot. The X-ray generating tube includes a transmission target having a first surface configured to be irradiated with an electron beam; an electron emitting source configured to irradiate the transmission target with the electron beam obliquely; and a tubular forward shield member to define an extraction angle of an extracted X-ray beam. The forward shield member is disposed such that a central axis of the electron beam and a central axis of the X-ray beam whose extraction angle is defined are located at the same side with respect to a virtual normal plane perpendicular to the surface and a projection of the central axis of the electron beam to the surface.

An X-ray generation tube includes: an anode including a target configured to generate X-rays under irradiation of electrons, and an anode member electrically connected to the target; a cathode including an electron emitting source configured to emit an electron beam in a direction towards the target, and a cathode member electrically connected to the electron emitting source; and an insulating tube extending between the anode member and the cathode member. The anode further includes an inner circumferential anode layer electrically connected to the anode member, the inner circumferential anode layer extending along an inner circumferential face of the insulating tube, and is remote from the cathode member.

The X-ray generation tube includes a target, an electron source, and a grid electrode having multiple electron passage apertures disposed between the target and the electron source. A source-side electron beam on the electron source side with respect to the grid electrode has a current density distribution, and the grid electrode has an aperture ratio distribution so that a region of the source-side electron beam in which a current density is largest is aligned with a region of the grid electrode in which an aperture ratio is smallest.

A multi-radiation unit includes: a multi-radiation tube which has a plurality of electron sources, a plurality of targets and an intermediate electrode having openings through which electrons emitted from the electron sources pass; a selection circuit that allows electrons to be emitted from a selected electron source selected from the plurality of electron sources; an intermediate electrode potential defining unit that defines a potential of the intermediate electrode; a storage unit that stores, for each of the plurality of electron sources, an electrostatic control condition of the intermediate electrode for obtaining a predetermined irradiated state of a target corresponding to the selected electron source; and a changing unit that changes, when electrons are emitted from the selected electron source, the electrostatic control condition of the intermediate electrode based on the electrostatic control condition stored in the storage unit for the selected electron source.
