An antenna device includes: a feeding element having a feedpoint that a signal in a first frequency band and a signal in a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band are supplied to; a high-band element connected to the feeding element, the high-band element resonating with the signal in the first frequency band; a low-band element connected to the feeding element, the low-band element resonating with the signal in the second frequency band; an auxiliary element capacitively coupled to the low-band element at an open end of the low-band element; a ground member grounded; and a switch switching a conductive state and a non-conductive state between the ground member and the auxiliary element.

Antenna device

An antenna device is disposed on a first, a second, and a third surfaces, and includes a first antenna disposed on the first and the third surfaces, a second antenna disposed on the second surface, and a ground line disposed on the first surface. The first antenna includes a first feedpoint disposed on the first surface, a first element disposed on the first surface, and extending from the first feedpoint to the third surface, and a second element disposed on the third surface, and extending in a direction along the first surface from an end of the first element. The second antenna includes a second feedpoint disposed in a manner separated from the first feedpoint in a direction parallel with the first and the second surfaces, and an antenna element extending from the second feedpoint. The ground line includes a ground line element capacitively coupled to the first antenna.

The electronic device includes a case, an antenna element, a heat source, a heat dissipation member, a heat conduction member, a cooling fan, an exhaust port, and an exhaust duct. The case has a pair of main surfaces and side surfaces. The antenna element is used to perform wireless communication. The heat dissipation member exchanges heat with a cooling wind. The heat conduction member conducts heat of the heat source to the heat dissipation member. The cooling fan generates the cooling wind to be blown to the heat dissipation member. The exhaust port is an exhaust port from which the cooling wind is discharged to the outside. The exhaust duct guides the cooling wind to the exhaust port. The exhaust port is disposed on one of the side surfaces, and the antenna element and the exhaust duct are disposed to overlap each other at least partially in the thickness direction.

Electronic device

A first base radiation element has a first end connected to the feed point, and a second end. A second base radiation element has a first end connected to the ground point, and a second end. The first and second base radiation elements respectively include portions extending in a first direction and close to each other. The first base radiation element is branched into first and second branch radiation elements at a first branch point located at the second end of the first base radiation element, the first branch radiation element includes a portion extending in the first direction, and the second branch radiation element includes a portion extending in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The end of the second base radiation element is connected to a connecting point different from the first branch point of the first branch radiation element.

Small antenna apparatus operable in multiple frequency bands

A GPS antenna is provided with a reflective conductor portion. Thereby, an electromagnetic wave radiated from an antenna conductor portion in a predetermined direction can be grounded electrically, and thus radiation of the electromagnetic wave in a direction (arbitrary direction) opposite to the predetermined direction can be enhanced. As a result, the directivity of the electromagnetic wave in the arbitrary direction can be enhanced to improve the positioning accuracy.

It is made possible to realize both miniaturization and a wider band in an antenna element. Antenna element

A polarization switching antenna device capable of switching a polarization without increase of an antenna installing space and also handling a variety of frequency bands is provided. A connection state of one end of a loop antenna element arranged on a side surface of a case is switched. Thus, the polarization characteristic is switched by switching selectively whether the antenna element should constitute a loop antenna or a linear antenna. Matching circuits suitable for respective characteristics are provided. The loop antenna can be fed in terms of a balanced feeding. A balanced feeding and an unbalanced feeding can be switched.

Polarization switching antenna device

The objective of the present invention is to provide a connection cable that serves as an external antenna for a radio apparatus, and whose antenna performance is not deteriorated in the use state by an adverse affect attributable to the near proximity of a human body. According to the present invention, an antenna device, integrally formed with first connection means, which is to be connected to a radio apparatus, second connection means, which is to be connected to a peripheral device, and a connection cable and an antenna element, which are located in between and which transmit a plurality of signals from the radio apparatus to the peripheral device, includes: first relay means, located at a middle position in the connection cable, for relaying the plurality of signals; the antenna element, located between the second connection means and the first relay means; and a coaxial line, located between the first connection means and the first relay means for transmitting, to the radio apparatus, an antenna reception signal that has been received at the antenna element and has been extracted by the first relay means, wherein the antenna element serves as an external antenna for the radio apparatus.
