A check valve includes two valve films of synthetic resin that put one on the other, and an air passage defined by two seal sections formed by means of bonding parts of the valve films together. A compression bag and air compression bag equipped with this check valve are also provided. An inlet of the air passage is defined by a straight line linking the respective upward flow side end sections of the seal sections. An outlet of the air passage is defined by a straight line linking the respective downward flow side end sections of the seal sections. In at least one of the seal sections, the valve films are not bonded together at the line of extension of the seal section, situated on the downward flow side of the downward flow side end section of the seal section.

An air cleaner unit includes a casing and a filter element disposed in the casing for filtering air to be introduced into an internal combustion engine of a vehicle. The casing includes a first case member and a second case member that are coupled to each other such that the filter element is housed in an element housing portion of the casing. The first case member has a hinge receiving portion, and the second case member has a hinge inserting portion. The hinge receiving portion and the hinge inserting portion are disposed under the element housing portion. The hinge receiving portion includes an engagement opening in which the hinge inserting portion is received such that the hinge receiving portion and the hinge inserting portion are connected in a hinge manner. The hinge receiving portion further includes a hinge receiving surface that extends from a vicinity of the engagement opening.

An air cleaner unit for an internal combustion engine includes a casing and a filter element disposed in the casing. The casing includes a first case member having a first opening and a first sealing surface on a periphery of the first opening and a second case member having a second opening and a second sealing surface on a periphery of the second opening. The first case member and the second case member are coupled such that the first and second openings are opposed in a substantially horizontal direction of a vehicle. The filter element has a peripheral portion that is interposed between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface. The first case member includes a side wall and a projection that projects from an inner surface of the side wall. The filter element is held in a substantially vertical position in the casing through the projection.

A gas filtering device includes a housing (), a flexible filter sheet (), an inlet port (), an outlet port (), and a displacement restriction portion () is provided. The flexible filter sheet () divides the interior of the housing into an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The filter sheet () has a portion that allows passage of gas. The inlet port is connected to the inlet chamber, and conducts gas into the inlet chamber. The outlet port is connected to the outlet chamber, and conducts gas from the inlet chamber to the/outlet chamber through the filter sheet. A seating detecting device is comprised of a first cushion having an insert wire embedded therein, a second cushion placed on the first cushion, a surface sheet placed on the second cushion, a suspension wire fixed to the surface sheet and arranged between the surface sheet and the second cushion, and a pressure detecting device provided between an upper surface of the first cushion and a lower surface of the second cushion and having a plurality of through-holes for the suspension wire being fixed by the insert wire therethrough thereby to fix the surface sheet to the first and second cushions.

An impact detecting apparatus includes a housing, a fixed electrode located within the housing, a movable electrode located adjacent the fixed electrode and adapted to be electrically connected with the fixed electrode, and a conical slope located within the housing. The conical slope has varying gradients or slopes along the circumferential direction of the conical slope for providing varying sensitivity. A ball is also located on the conical slope, and a shaft is located within the housing. The shaft is movably supported on the housing for engaging the ball and is adapted to control the position of the movable electrode.

Impact detecting apparatus

A sheet-like pressure sensitive switch is disclosed. A spacer 2 of an insulating material is interposed between a first film 1 of an insulating material which is provided with a first electrode 1a and a second film 3 of an insulating material which is provided with a second electrode 3a. The spacer 2 has a number of openings 2a, through which the first electrode 1a and the second electrode 3a oppose each other with an air gap therebetween. A first lead wire 4a and a second lead wire 4b are connected to the first electrode 1a and the second electrode 3a, respectively. In a pressure sensitive switch according to a first embodiment, the first and the second film 1, 3 are formed of polyethylene naphthalate films. In a pressure sensitive switch according to a second embodiment, the second film 3 is formed of polyethylene terephthalate film while the first film 1 is formed of polyethylene naphthalate film.

Pressure sensitive switch

A pressure sensitive switch includes a first insulating film provided on one surface thereof with an electrode sheet and an insulating spacer having one surface connected to one surface of the first insulating film and a thickness. The insulating spacer is formed with a plurality of holes, each having a diameter larger than the thickness and a plurality of air-vents, each having a width which is narrower than the diameter of the holes in such a manner that the holes and the air-vents are in mutual air communication and extend through the insulating spacer along its thickness direction. A second insulating film is provided on one surface thereof with another electrode sheet and one surface of the second insulating film is connected to the other surface of the insulating spacer. A cord has a first wire and a second wire connected to the electrode sheet of the first insulating film and the electrode sheet of the second insulating film, respectively. A plurality of air passages extend through the first insulating film along its thickness direction and are in air communication with the air-vents and exposed to an exterior atmosphere.

A shaft is located within the housing and movably supported on the housing for striking the ball with one end. A fixed electrode is located within the housing and a movable electrode is located near the fixed electrode. The movable electrode electrically connects with the fixed electrode. A lever is rotatably and slidably supported within the housing. One end of the lever is able to push the movable electrode and the other end of the lever is able to contact with the shaft. A spring urges the shaft for striking the ball.
