A plurality of permanent magnets are embedded at predetermined pitches &tgr;p in a longitudinal direction in a field yoke composed of a magnetic substance so that adjacent magnet poles have opposite polarity, and a plurality of electromagnets, which have magnetic pole pitches &tgr;e&ap;(2n&plus;1)&tgr;p of preset intervals provided that n is 0, 1, 2, . . . , which are disposed at predetermined pitches &tgr;g&equals;(2s&plus;1/m)&tgr;e in the longitudinal direction of the field yoke provided that m is a number of exciting phase and s is 1, 2, 3, . . . , and which are separated from the field yoke by a predetermined gap while opposing to the field yoke, are provided. The field yoke is driven by successively exciting the electromagnets.

Linear motor

The invention includes an annular exciting coil , a main yoke surrounding a periphery of the exciting coil and having polar teeth and disposed to face each other on opposite end sides of a central hole of the exciting coil, and a cylindrical permanent magnet disposed in the central hole of the exciting coil to be movable in an axial direction of the hole and polarized in a radial direction.

A thrust producer of a moving-magnet type includes a rod supported for upward and downward movements by an apparatus main body through an air hydrostatic bearing and a thrust producer for moving the rod up and down, the thrust producer has a magnet mounted to the rod to be displaced with the rod and a coil provided to the apparatus main body to generate magnetic force when the coil is energized, and the thrust producer produces thrust by an interaction of the magnet and the magnetic force generated by the coil.

Thrust controllable actuator

A lift amount of a valve plug is controlled with respect to a period of time from valve-closing operation instruction time for an electric opening/closing valve to arrival at a preset quick valve-closing operation position at which a flow line of a fluid discharged from a discharge port of a nozzle is in a constricted state, in accordance with a driving action of an electric actuator. The valve plug of the electric opening/closing valve is controlled to be at a closed position after the arrival at the quick valve-closing operation position. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the incontinent liquid drip from the nozzle during the valve-closing operation of the electric opening/closing valve.

Method and system for preventing incontinent liquid drip

A opening and closing valve comprises ROM in which a plurality of valve-closing program control patterns are stored in order to avoid liquid drip when the valve is closed. The valve further comprises a control unit for controlling a valve plug lift position in a direction to close the valve by controlling an amount of electric power application to a linear voice coil type driving unit in accordance with the valve-closing program control pattern.

A suck back valve is proposed which prevents change in the amount of fluid which is sucked by the suck back valve, and which improves response accuracy of a diaphragm, together with accurately controlling a displacement amount and a displacement speed thereof. A diaphragm displaceably disposed confronting an interior of a flow passage is formed from a first membrane and a second membrane stacked on the first membrane, wherein the first membrane is sucked into contact with the second membrane through holes defined in the second membrane, by activation of a negative pressure generating source which is connected to a chamber through a passage, and wherein the form of the first membrane is maintained by the second membrane.
