A shielded electrical connector includes an inner conductor and an outer conductor. The inner conductor includes an extension portion extending from a dielectric toward a circuit board. The outer conductor includes a bottom surface where an opening portion is open, and a back surface facing backward. The extension portion includes a board connection portion protruding from the opening portion to be connected to a conductive portion of the circuit board. A retraction recessed portion is formed in the bottom surface of the outer conductor. The retraction recessed portion extends backward from back edge portion of the opening portion in the bottom surface of the outer conductor and is open in the back surface.

A shield conductor includes a first outer conductor and a second outer conductor that are assembled to each other. At least one of the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor includes a protrusion portion protruding in a direction of assembly between the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor, and another one of the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor includes a groove portion in which the protrusion portion fits in a state where the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor are assembled. At least one of an outer surface of the protrusion portion and an inner surface of the groove portion is formed with a contact rib. The contact rib extends in the direction of assembly and comes into contact with another one of the outer surface and the inner surface.

A shield connector includes an inner conductor, an outer conductor, a dielectric, and a housing. The outer conductor includes an outer-conductor-side contact portion that is disposed behind the housing and faces backward in a coupled state with the housing. The outer-conductor-side contact portion and the housing-side contact portion contact each other in the coupled state between the outer conductor and the housing.

First and second outer conductors are each a conductive rigid body. The first outer conductor includes a fitting receiving portion. The second outer conductor includes a fitting portion fit in the fitting receiving portion in a direction of assembly to the first outer conductor. One of an inner surface of the fitting receiving portion and an outer surface of the fitting portion is formed with a recessed portion recessed in a width direction intersecting the assembly direction. Another one of the inner and outer surfaces is formed with a protruding portion protruding in the width direction and fitting in the recessed portion. The inner surface of the recessed portion and the outer surface of the protruding portion include contact surface portions contacting with each other to prevent displacement of the first and second outer conductors in a direction opposite to the assembly direction.

In an outboard motor, a feed passage, through which a lubricating oil that flows upward from a gear mechanism due to rotation of the gear mechanism, extends upward from a gear chamber and includes a first feed passage that extends from the gear chamber to a connection passage via a first upstream passage, a spiral passage, and an interior of an upper bearing, in that order. The feed passage further includes a second feed passage that extends from the gear chamber to the return passage while bypassing the spiral passage via a bypass passage. The bypass passage includes two ends spaced apart in a circumferential direction of the driveshaft and is disposed around the spiral passage.

Outboard motor

A corrugated tube made of resin includes outer grooved portions and outer ridged portions which are formed in a circumferential direction when the corrugated tube is seen from the outside. The outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions continuously alternate in a tube-axial direction. Inner ridged portions and inner grooved portions are formed on an inner surface of the corrugated tube so as to respectively conform to the shapes of the outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions. A cushioning portion is formed on the inner surface of the corrugated tube, and has hardness softer than that of a covering outer surface of one or multiple conductive paths accommodated in the corrugated tube.

In an outboard motor, a feed passage, through which a lubricating oil that flows upward from a gear mechanism due to rotation of the gear mechanism is fed upward from a gear chamber, includes a first feed passage, extending from the gear chamber to a connection passage via a first upstream passage, a spiral passage, and an interior of an upper bearing, in that order, and a second feed passage, extending from the first upstream passage to the connection passage while bypassing the spiral passage via a bypass passage. The bypass passage is positioned farther outward than the spiral passage in a radial direction of the driveshaft. A diameter of a cross section of the bypass passage that is orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to a center line of the driveshaft is smaller than a maximum diameter of the driveshaft.

A wire harness includes plural cables, a first sheet and a second sheet. The first sheet includes a base sheet, and a self-adhesive layer formed on a whole of only first surface of the base sheet. The first sheet is wound on the plural cables so that a non-self-adhesive layer formed on a second surface, opposite to the first surface, of the first sheet is located inside. The second sheet includes a base sheet and a self-adhesive layer formed on a whole of only first surface of the base sheet. The second sheet is wound on the first sheet so that the self-adhesive layer of the first surface of the second sheet is located inside.

An improved flow control mechanism for a tilt and trim adjustment systern quickens tilt operation of an associated outboard drive, without sacrificing a desired control when trimming the outboard drive. The flow control mechanism includes a bypass line that interconnects the two sides of a respective tilt and trim cylinder. A bypass valve regulates flow through the bypass line. The bypass valve opens the bypass line when moving the outboard drive within the tilt range to quicken this operation. When moving the outboard drive within the trim range, however, the bypass valve closes the bypass line and connects an up chamber of the cylinder to a suction side of the pump to slow the speed at which the tilt and trim adjustment systern moves the outboard drive within this range of movement. The slower speed by which the systern raises and lowers the outboard drive enhances the ability to control the adjustment of the outboard drive's trim position. An actuator mechanism automatically controls the valve depending upon whether the drive's movement occurs within the tilt range or the trim range.

Hydraulic tilt and trim unit for marine drive

An improved flow control mechanism for a tilt and trim adjustment system quickens tilt and trim operations of an associated outboard drive. The flow control mechanism includes a bypass line that interconnects the two sides of a respective tilt and trim cylinder. A bypass valve regulates flow through the bypass line. The bypass valve opens the bypass line when raising the outboard drive to quicken this operation. When lowering the outboard drive, however, the bypass valve closes the bypass line and connects an up chamber of the cylinder to a suction side of the pump to slow the speed at which the tilt and trim adjustment system lowers the outboard drive. The flow control mechanism also inhibits the flow of working fluid through the system when the pump is inactive.
